First dance pole experience & it's good! Pretty easy to assemble, the instructions could be more detailed but it's pretty intuitive. Just figure out which way is tight vs loose first & mark it if ya think you'll get confused, for the top mounting part at least. It's all 'righty-tighty' for the screw elements but I got a lil mixed up the first time.I have the rainbow one & the finish is awesome. So cool. Just be careful to not scratch it up, I'd recommend avoiding hard metal elements for dancing. The pole is also steel, so it's magnetic; don't stick any magnets directly to it to be safe about the finish, but it's a cool bonus feature of sorts, with some soft backing I've put magnetic hooks on it to hang stuff up for some occasions.Is sturdy & stable when set up correctly. I've gone from no dance pole to being able to confidently flip myself upside down by just my legs in maybe half a year? I'm just self taught but this is exceptionally fun :)Right now I have it on carpet and a popcorn/bumpy ceiling & it holds perfectly well. The squished carpet will bounce back after a couple weeks of no pole when it's removed. It does mess up the popcorn ceiling but that's fixable.Just don't jump at it sideways too hard, the design isn't intended for too much shear loading hahaAlso; this company is great about customer service. There was a mix up with my pole color at first & they communicated well & resolved the issue right away. Highly recommend!

Had this pole for over a week now and love it! My mistake was not measuring the height so the pole was not high enough to reach my ceiling, I did have to buy an extension piece which was extra $30 but after installing it, it works great! Did need help due to being short but overall easy to assemble!

This dance pole is pretty durable and functional in spin mode as long as it is properly installed. I am a small female and it took 2 men to put this together to lock it in place or else it would move and potentially damage ceiling. Yes, the pole is retractable and I have taken it down and reinstalled it a couple of times. You must have strength to tighten and untighten poles ! The material is heavy.

This is my second pole purchase. My first pole was your basic silver pole that I purchased from a different store. Never had a problem with grip at home, or in any official pole class I’ve taken. With the rainbow pole gripping is almost impossible. Even my patent leather-thigh high, pole boots slide right off. The slipperiness of the pole ensures that you’ll be effectively grounded. You won’t be able to progress beyond the basics, dip-spin, fireman, etc. I can’t even “pole-sit” on this thing. It’s like someone greased with baby oil or petroleum jelly. Either way, you can easily hurt yourself with this pole. Just ask my shins. Idk if this is a problem specific to these kinds of finishes, or if it is isolated to this brand. I want to exchange it for a different finish.

This is my second dance pole, and while the installation was a bit weird, mostly because the paper instructions aren't worded well, once I finally got it up it feels nice and stable, and spins more smoothly than my last pole. As for the actual installation process, just figure out your ceiling height and which pieces you need for that (it's in mm, which I find hilarious, why mm? Why so tiny? Why not cm??) get the QR code from the second to last page of the booklet and then throw the damn thing in the trash. Lol. Once you do that, it's simple and easily done without assistance, and I like the way it's put together better than my last pole as well.If this review never gets updated, assume all is well. If I come across something I don't like, I'll be back. ✌🏼

The Pole Overall Looks Nice But It Barely Spins, Even When I Loosen The Screw It’s Very Stiff

The media could not be loaded. I went over a lot of reviews before I got this and I’ll have to say it was so much easier and better than what I was expecting. There was a couple reviews stating that there is a piece missing or that they couldn’t put it together for some reason, but this was not the case at all for me, I put it together by myself, my ceilings are high so I wish I would’ve gotten an extender because I ended up having to put a towel at the top in order to make it snug. The directions tell you exactly what to do and they are not confusing whatsoever.So that’s was the assembly part. As far as how it works. It works exactly as described and it’s easy to make stationary or spin. I’ve used it everyday since I’ve gotten it without fault. I love it

Seriously just hit the Buy Now button if you are considering getting a portable/movable dancing pole. So worth every penny. It holds up perfectly! I jumped and spinned and it didn't budge. So glad I got this item!! I was afraid it would fall down if I tried to do any tricks and it is wonderfully sturdy- doesn't even wiggle! Very happy! would highly recommended. Easy to put together took only about 15 or 20 minutes.
