Xikar Allume Single Flame Cigar Lighters

I've only owned two torch lighters, this lighter being the second one. The first torch lighter I owned stopped working after about a week and a half of constant use, so I lost hope until now. I have been using the Xikar Lighter on a daily basis (Heavy Use), and it works every time, usually on the second click of the lighter, which isn't bad. I bleed the lighter every two-three fills, I'm a torch lighter amateur, so I don't know if I should be bleeding the lighter more or less. I have been using zippo fluid inside the Xikar lighter, so maybe the second click light start is because of this fuel. I haven't tried the Xikar fuel yet, but I've read good review on it, I will try this fuel next. I've used zippo fuel because I brought it on Ebay for super cheap, but I've read other reviews that these lighters can last a good number of years if you continue to bleed the lighter and use good fuel, so we shall see.

A nice workhorse torch. A nice compliment to my Xikar cutter. Perfect for when I'm not carrying my S.T. DuPont lighters to formal shows and events. Easy to adjust flame, and exceptional push striker. The size is smaller than I expected or desired...so not recommend for large hands. My medium hands are accommodated just fine and I'm pleased with this accessory.

Great lighter! Smaller than I imagined, but I liked the size! Fits any pocket and it's very light. It won't light up when upside down (there's a safety lock built-in). Fuel tank is small but since it's a single flame it will last for a good while. I loved it!

This lighter is gorgeous. I sort of have a lighter collection from Zippos to vectors to off brand random ones to xikars. The moment I opened the box I knew this would be my favorite one. It is so clean and the finish is so easy to look at and ergonomical. It is a little smaller than I expected and Im actually happy about that. It is the same height and thickness as a standard Zippo but about 10% less wide. There is a fat dial at the bottom to make flame adjustment easy and there is also a fuel gauge. Hopefully this lighter will last a while but even if something goes wrong Xikar has their awesome lifetime warranty. Well done guys.

Well designed and built, works great. Nice features: The flame compartment opens and closes with the ignition bar, so the orifice is protected from dirt & lint when not in use. I also like the flame adjustment, the fuel window and its compact size.
