OK I own quite a bit of makeup, and I am a Cruelty Free cosmetics user so brushes are pretty important to me.PROS:Wide range of brushesSuper soft bristlesTinted tips hide pigment stainingNo loose bristlesTight connection, the ferule is attached tightly!Long handles allows for easy applicationSO many eye brushes--perfect set for hooded eyesCONS:Silly case covered in glitter not my styleOVERALL:Honestly I can't say anything negative about these brushes. The silly free bag was covered in glitter, so that has been passed on to someone else. The brushes however are AMAZING!EYE BRUSHES:I wear very colorful eyeshadows daily, so I use an average of 4 brushes each day. Cheapy brushes don't pick up and distribute color well. These do not feel like cheapy brushes. These feel high end, super soft, very well built, great length, and excellent pickup. I used these on several different kinds of shadows and they performed perfectly. I used it with setting spray and foil shadows, with some powdery matte shades, and with creme to powder shadows. The difference a GOOD brush can make is kind of crazy! I will be replacing some of my eye brushes now that I have tested these out.Face Brushes:Blend, blend, blend. I apply powder, bronzer, blush, contour, and highlight with a brush and these were very strange to me at first. They are so soft I was over applying product! They pick up baked products so much better than my cheaper brushes I was caught off guard and had to adjust and tap tap tap off.They are excellent for buffing the entire face--I find that they easily create an airbrushed effect and smooth out any hard transition lines between contour, blush, and under eye area.I have had no fall out with washing! I love that the tips of these bristles are purple, I have a few brushes that are stained permanently from pigment and look dirty despite being freshly washed. They are super cute on my vanity and I enjoy the weight of them.I added photos to show how exactly they came to me, very well protected inside the case. I found no smell after 5 seconds. Every bristle was well protected and none were loose or creased.I would absolutely buy this set again, and give it as a gift. My only regret is not investing in higher quality brushes earlier!!!

Brushes are super soft, but the bristles are stiff enough to pick up and apply product. Came in a very timely fashion. YES—they do have a bit of chemical smell on them when they first arrived. However, give them a quick wash and let them dry, and they are good to go. I did that, and the smell totally disappeared, which is something you should ALWAYS do with new brushes anyway, so the bad reviews complaining about the smell are just being silly. They are very cute. Larger brushes come with a brush guard on them to help retain their shape. Couple of scraggly hairs but I just snipped them off (seriously like, 2 hairs one ONE brush). Love the set. They feel weighty and expensive but light enough for ease of use. Love the color. I bought this set to pack with my traveling makeup kit but honestly, I’m going to upgrade them to every day use ❤️ Great value!ALSO... comes with an ADORABLE bag! 🥰

UPDATE: I’ve used these brushes for months and have washed them a few times. They’re great! Do not fall apart with washing or use.Very soft brushes, good size. They seemed real large on the video but they’re nice medium sized. The flat foundation brush is smaller than the kabuki brushes I’ve used but it should work. The bag also looks huge in pics but isn’t much bigger than a small or regular sized makeup pouch.

Very pretty set and nicely packaged. I took away one star away because of the smell of the bag and brushes. It has a bad factory smell. I have the brushes laid out to air out for a few days. Glitter bag is a nice touch. Brushes are nice and soft as well.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's birthday but secretly wanted to keep it for myself. The pouch is glittery and extremely pretty in person. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy which I was expecting it to be consider the price but boy was I wrong. Once you zip it open, there's a smaller zipper in there on one side so you can actually use this as a pouch for going out. As for the brushes, since it was a gift, I won't be able to use it and review on that. The color on the brush is vibrant and very very pretty in person. It feels sturdy and seem to be good quality that will last for a while. For the price, I definitely recommend this to makeup lovers!

I bought these brushes to have an extra set at my boyfriend’s house so I wouldn’t say that I use them daily but they do get used often. I really love these brushes. They take makeup really well in both powder and liquid form and the are SO SOFT. I think the only complaint I have is that the flat foundation brush had a few loose bristles but even that wasn’t a huge deal. After it shed a couple it stopped. I also really liked the sparkly case they came in. It’s a well made pouch and saved me from having to buy a separate one.

Nice looking brushes, pretty soft and a good variety of sizes/types. There were some loose "hairs" on the brushes upon arrival so will be watching to see if they fall out regularly. The larger brushes did come with the mesh protection on them so they maintained their shape. The brushes are quite pretty. The bag they come with is pretty but very rough and rigid. They did not have a great gift presentation but I guess if you just left the all wrapped in the individual plastic sleeves in the bag it wouldn't be bad.

I’m not a makeup girl, but I like to put it on for special occasions or events. I’ve had for a month....So far so good. Used the brushes about 5 times. Could do without the pouch...it’s too loud and there was a little fraying on the inside lining of the pouch. But hey, I didn’t buy for the pouch. The feathering on the brushes feel heavier or fuller than my drugstore brushes which I like. The brushes clean up nicely with soap & water. I bought them for about 17 US dollars. Overall, I’d say all those brushes make a good starter kit for a great price.
