Q: I'm needing a dimmer for an outdoor rope light fixture. all the dimmers i'm finding don't mention rope lights. does this one work with rope lights?

That would be a question for the manufacturer of your rope lights. Ask them if the rope lights are dimmable. Usually if you are able to dim rope lights with its remote it may work with this dimmer. If rope lights only have one setting and can not increase intensity of light, a dimmer may not work. Hope this helps.
