I bought three more of the same cameras, bringing the total to four. I connected 4 cameras to my POE NVR. That said, I’m experiencing ongoing issues with my Vimtag POE cameras. I have four of them (numbered 6–10), and over the past two to three months, they have been running very inconsistently. They frequently disconnect, lose connection, or go offline. In addition, the ONVIF function often turns off by itself, requiring me to manually re-enter my password and re-enable ONVIF in the app each time. Since yesterday, all four cameras (6–10) have stopped working completely. They display the same error message: “Network is crowded, please try it later.” However, my other POE cameras (numbered 1–5), which are connected to the same POE switch, are functioning without any issues. This suggests that both the switch and the network are operating properly. I have already tried restarting both the switch and the host device, but the problem persists. For your reference, I’ve attached some images that illustrate the issues. After 5-7 days received an email reply: Dear customer, We hope this message finds you well. We sincerely apologize for the ongoing connectivity issues you are experiencing with your Vimtag POE cameras 6-10. Our technical team has reviewed the situation and notes that your camera model is from an earlier production batch. The symptoms you described, including frequent disconnections and the ONVIF function disabling itself, are often related to unstable network connectivity on the camera's end, which can affect these older models more significantly. We recommend a few steps you can try. Please check the Ethernet cables connected to cameras 6-10 and consider replacing them to rule out any potential cable faults, even though cameras 1-5 are working on the same switch. It would also be helpful to test these specific cameras by connecting them to different ports on your POE switch. Additionally, verifying the network signal strength at the installation points of cameras 6-10 might provide further insight, as environmental factors can sometimes cause interference. We are here to provide further assistance if these steps do not resolve the problem. Best regards, VIMTAG Support Team It has been about two weeks, and I still like this Poe PTZ camera. In fact, I have bought several more. The nice thing is you can set them up in conjunction with other cameras and have them turn to look in a given direction if there is movement in a different spot from where this camera is generally parked (you need a good DVR device to do that—I am using Hiseeu PoE NVR). This camera has turned out to be better than I anticipated. The LED light is also very useful. I have one mounted at the front and back of my house, zoomed in to an area, and if someone walks through that area, it fires the LED spot, which is an added layer of deterrent to potential intruders. When it connects to NVR, it needs to connect to APP first, then turn on the ONVIF function in APP settings and set an administrator password, so that it can connect to any NVR. I give this a five-star rating because I have been using it for 2 weeks with no issues, and the quality is great for the price. Review: Excelente 👌

Can not connect to my dvr or the app

Nice camera , BUT......... I use BlueIris software to monitor quite a few cameras around the house. While I can connect this camera to BlueIris, it is RTSP interface ONLY and this interface changes over time, therefore I need to "reconnect" the camera every 12 hours or so. The camera works fine with the Vimtag app so, if this is all you need, fine. But I would warn anyone who uses third party software. You CANNOT use a static http IP address with this camera. I will be keeping the cameras (I bought 2) for monitoring special events but will only be able to use the app.
