Speaking on the "Marinade" which I saw this used in a Harry Soo video (bbq product guy on youtube).It's a totally pointless product. Its just a slightly goopy (sugar + thickeners), diluted-worcestershire sauce, basically. You'd need to have a lobotomy to think you couldn't do better than this. Take a bottle of worcestershire sauce, add equal part water, and then a teaspoon of clove. That is it. Literally all it tastes like. Do No Waste Your Money.

We love Head Country, but we live on West Coast now and don't have grocery store access to it. I bought it on Amazon and didn't realize how much I was paying, because it was an anniversary present for my husband. I spent 20 bucks on this bottle and it is like 5 or 6 bucks on their website, when with paying a higher Fed Ex shipping fee, I would've saved money going through the Head Country website. The BBQ sauce is great, sweet with a little spice. So unless you need it within the Prime 2 day shipping, don't buy it on Amazon. (No offense, Amazon, I love you, really.)

Call me spoiled, but I will legitimately refuse to eat barbecue if I don't have Head Country available. As an Okie living in Minnesota, I used to have my parents buy the gallon jug at Sam's Club in Oklahoma and I would get it any time I came to visit. But as someone who also lives alone, I'm ashamed to say that I didn't often make it through an entire gallon before it started to get a little funky (think tangy, but not in a good way). When I saw that I could get a 6 pack of bottles for a very comparable price to the gallon jug, I jumped on it, as it is way more practical for me. I have loved Head Country from the moment I first experienced it, as a small child in Enid. It's the perfect balance of sweet, salty, spicy, and smoky. It pairs well with any kind of meat, but you can always just drink it straight from the bottle (kidding, kind of...). I've converted many a bbq enthusiast since keeping my pantry well stocked, the only down side to the 6-pack is that if one of your converts REALLY likes it, you're kind of obligated to send a bottle with them. But I guess I wouldn't be a good Oklahoman if I didn't.

Best BBQ sauce ever!!! I am originally from Oklahoma (currently live in California) & this BBQ sauce is locally sold at grocery stores where I lived. Since moving to California, I only got to enjoy this BBQ sauce when I went back home to visit & snatched a few bottles to bring back and my husband who HATES barbecue sauce LOVES this one!!! I was so excited when I seen it was available on Amazon but I was skeptical also because I thought it might be a fake version or old bottles but nope, it is originally authentic and fresh!!!! This BBQ sauce is a staple in our home. There isn't a better sauce out there like Head Country and that's a FACT!!!

I found Head Country Hot & Spicy in my local grocery store and fell in love. So many BBQ sauces are too sugary, or too vinegary, or too tomato-y, but this one hits a nice balance. And it's nicely spicy without being too spicy. The regular is also really good, and I started using it when my store stopped carrying the Hot & Spicy. Then it stopped carrying Head Country altogether - booo!!!!! So I came to Amazon to buy it. Seriously, it's worth the trouble. My ribs are happy, my pulled pork barbecue is happy, and I am happy now.

I'm true OKIE that lived in Tulsa Oklahoma all my adult years until recently relocating to SC due to military... OMG don't take small things for granted! I grew up on head and country however unfortunately when we moved I couldn't find a single bottle in this region therefore I had to search. I got lucky the first time and found head and country @ walmart. com. The next time I looked it was not available.... when I went to the head and country website there were no bottles of original available. So being a loyal shopper of Amazon I decided to search here and I'm soooooo glad that I did! Yes it may be a bit more expensive on this site however if you love head and country it is WORTH the few extra bucks! Thanks Amazon for supplying this product!

I bought this one day because I was swamped with work and out of BBQ sauce and did not have the time to go to the store to buy my usual Sweet Baby Rays. I decided to buy this as the price was good and it had solid reviews and with two day shipping it would be here in time before I was out of what little BBQ sauce I had left. After buying this I can never go back to Sweet Baby Rays. I did a side by side comparison and this stuff blows it out of the water! It is much sweeter but not over powering and thinner as well. It is the perfect sauce to use on ribs, chicken or any other kind of bbq meat. I can not wait to finish this bottle so I can try the other varieties of Head Country Bar B Q sauce. At 160 oz though it might be a while.
