These are so comfortable - they were like wearing pajamas. That being said, you probably shouldn’t work in these. They feel amazing but I’m not sure how much they’re gonna hold up to - they feel less durable than my Old Navy jeans. The fit is good but the straps don’t adjust as much as my Dickies pair does; also they’re very stretchy, to the point where heavy items in the bib will make it sag. They’re also very slim, to accommodate for the stretch. I could walk around all day in these things and feel great, but I wouldn’t exactly feel protected in them.I’m a theater carpenter so my work load isn’t heavy duty, but I’m interested to see how this holds up to kneeling on the pavement getting scraped by loose screws, etc.Gonna keep them, but might be getting a duck pair too for Christmas depending on how they handle.

They are comfortable right out of the box. They are not super wide like other brands and have a softer feel but are still think and feel like they will handle rugged use.I work outside and they keep me warm and moving.Zero complaints.I am a 6’1” 170 with a 32 waist so I ordered 34/32 for a little extra room. (They for perfect)If I put the strap as long they can go they will look a little baggy. If I pull it up a little they fit right at my boots. (So there is room in both directions)Lots of pockets. I've been wearing Dickies overalls for years but the bib never really fit right (straps frequently slid off my shoulders) and the canvas suddenly got a lot lighter so I compared them to the Hisea and the Carhartt's. First off, the canvas on the Hisea's is really heavy and stiff. If you're doing really rough work, this might be a good thing, but I wear overalls all day, every day, and for me, the fabric just wasn't that comfortable. The cut of the Hisea's is kind of boxy and it suffers from the same wide bib as the Dickie's. I don't know how broad your chest would have to be to fill out the bib but I'm a fairly big guy (6'1", 215lbs) and it just kind of floats. Third, the straps are narrower than the Dickie's or the Carhartts. They might cut into your shoulders at the end of a long day. And finally, the clips feel like cheap stamped parts. They might stand up just fine, but I'm not keeping them long enough to find out.After comparing all three brands, the Carhartts were my favorite. The canvas feels great and the cut is just more detailed than the other two. Lots of different pieces, darts all over the place, re-enforced cuffs - it just fits well. The Carhartts are more expensive than the Dickies and twice as expensive as the Hisea, but for me, it's worth it.

Great quality, durable, true to size.

My experience with Carhartt and work overalls is very limited. At 44 years old I haven't put on overalls since my toddler years. I purchased the my first pair in tan to test them out, tried them for one day, and then ordered another pair in charcoal. These overalls are more comfortable than anything else in my closet! During this past year I bought two more pairs which feature different cuts and fabrics yet remain extremely comfortable which increased my total to four pairs.I especially like the canvas fabric. I anticipated that these Carhartt overalls would be rough and stiff like other Carhartt products I've seen. The canvas fabric is very soft but still sturdy and didn't shrink after being washed. The zipped pocket on the bib is now my favorite feature of these overalls. Keeping my items zipped prevents them from spilling out of the pocket during bathroom visits! When they're dirty, I just toss them in with the whites and they come our perfect.My life has been free from manual labor tasks, which I consider the essence of Carhartt. These overalls work well for men with office jobs who need to perform manual labor tasks at home or in other places like church or woodworking shops. These quickly became my go-to clothing choice after work hours and during weekends. Everytime I wear them in public, at least one stranger asks about them.Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

First of all what a comfortable set of bib's. No stiffness and great movement. As a noob owner of bib's I neglected to secure my straps and my washing machine ate the buckle end. I contacted Carhartt and unfortunately they did not supply this buckle part (please do Carhartt...thx). The kind customer rep. (Thanks Megan) told me not to worry and shipped me out an exact replacement bib overalls. That was great one on one interaction. This is , for sure, one of the best 90 dollar purchases for a pair of overalls. I got great comfort and service from a company I never used. Keep up this great service Carhartt. I'll see you again for more!

Not made like they used to be! I have bought quite a few pairs of these same exact bibs over the years and added a pair every now and then. The last pair I received was around December; I washed them one time, and the stitching came out of the seat. They were replaced by Amazon returns. The new pair has lasted all of two months, maybe 4 times wearing them, and the right strap came apart. It looks like poor crimping on the endpoint where it is supposed to be secured. Looking at the left side, it isn’t far from breaking free as well. I’ve never had a problem with quality from Carhartt items until recently. I doubt I’m going to be buying anything further from them. I called in to the help line for Carhartt and was told to return to the retailer, and the retailer told me they have to cover it, so basically the runaround on both ends, so I just have to eat $100 on the purchase of clearly defective clothing.
