The color in person looks a bit different than the pic. Still enjoyed it for Fall as well as Thanksgiving.

Do not worry about the thickness of the comforter. It is pretty cozy and will hold up through the midwestern winter with an adequately heated room. Looks good and is soft to touch. Light stains get washed out easily. Color quality is more than satisfactory.
