The wood “veneer” finish looks almost like walnut hardwood in person, even better than the photos. The overall design is minimal and elegant, with really nice brown wood tones, no red undertones. If you take your time putting the dresser together, being careful to follow all the instructions, the dresser is quite solid, square, and sturdy. However, assemble everything on a rug or blanket as it can be scratched, and avoid lifting the dresser by the top surface alone since that would likely pull the components apart (the assembled dresser is quite heavy). Lift the dresser by the bottom instead, without the drawers installed, whenever moving it. The only thing that would make it better would be levelers on the bottom to adjust for our uneven, old wood floors, which we had to shim. The drawer runners are nicely designed, making it easy to fine tune the minimal joints between the drawers so they don’t rub, and look great when done. We liked the first dresser so much we ended up buying two more.

I was really excited about this dresser, but unfortunately, it arrived with some damage. The dresser came dinged in multiple places, and a metal piece was bent right out of the box. Since I had already hired a professional handyman to assemble it, returning it wasn’t an option—it would have been too much of a hassle to wait for a replacement and pay for assembly again.While the dresser is heavy, the materials feel cheap, which is disappointing for the price. It looks nice once put together, but I wouldn’t buy it again knowing the quality issues. If you’re considering this, be prepared for potential damage and assembly challenges

The media could not be loaded. The color is great! It arrived fully intact and looks pretty/as advertised. Assembly wasn’t too hard. Instructions were clear, occasionally even funny. Took about an hour and two people was helpful at times, but not required. I used my young son as a second person. My only true disappointment is that the drawer wiggles a bit on the sides and there’s no way to tighten it down much more as it basically slides into place and is tightened down only on one side. But the functionality of the drawer is there and I don’t have a true concern about it. I think it’ll hold. It’s moderately supportive of weight overall and feels like it’ll last an appropriate amount of time for a $150 dresser.

I love this dresser! It was time consuming to put together about three hours just taking our time and it came out great! Very sturdy and nice looking. Also lots of storage! I would buy again for sure.

This thing is pretty aid for the price is worth it. Only thing I would say would be that to put it together needs time so be sure to have it. There is a step that we couldn’t figure out for the life of us. They have these metal rail looking pieces that go in the dresser and the drawls are then placed in. We couldn’t get a drawl in if those metal pieces were in there. So we took those off and it works fine. This dresser was out of stock when we wanted a second one, so hopefully it’ll be back when I need it again.

Mixed feelings about this dresser. The product arrived damaged, but the manufacturer quickly shipped a replacement for the damaged part. Later I discovered that other parts were also slightly damaged, but I was still able to put it together. It’s easy to build, but takes forever. The product is extremely heavy. Overall it looks beautiful and expensive, the drawers slide well, and there’s a good amount of storage space. I’m using it in my living room for miscellaneous storage and it’s perfect. However, you basically can’t put anything on it without scratching the top. As others have mentioned, the material is somehow so delicate and prone to scratches. I haven’t placed anything heavy or sharp on the top, yes it already has dents and dings. So frustrating. The handles and edges are also all scratched up, and I’ve had to fill in the damages with wood markers. Other than that, the product is excellent and I’m happy to have it in my home. If I can find a glass top that fits perfectly to protect it, i’ll have to get it

I was hesitant to order, but I’m happy I did! I liked this specific dresser because I absolutely love pottery barn and west elm furniture, but I didn’t want to spend $2,000 on a dresser in this economy. This dresser gives the same look & it’s great quality in my opinion. It’s not super heavy, but it’s very sturdy, and heavy enough. I don’t regret purchasing this for my apartment. I’d say it’s a great dupe if you’re shopping for quality furniture on a budget. It was a simple put together, just very time consuming in my opinion, but it was only me and my boyfriend figuring it out.
