Bought for a friend with a broken key fob case. Everything fit together perfectly, If you have any problems with not working check 1) your new battery is installed properly so the polarity is correct, and 2) Just make sure the battery prongs are bent back up a little to make sure you have good contact from the battery to the ic card and buttons. That was the only issue for us.

This was sought to be an affordable fix to the failing factory FOB plastic housings. The factory FOBs worked and worked well, but the housings were cracking where they snap together. These arrived in the typical two-day-or-so.Move the PCBs and batteries from the original housings, I noticed the battery snapped in and we held in a manner that it could not fall out, but it was loose. That is key. These new FOB housings, once reassembled with the factory PCBs, did not work. It was the batteries being loose in the housing. At first, I folded a small piece of paper and wedged it under the batteries. This test of wedging the batteries got them to work for a short while; not a permanent solution.My permanent solution to salvage this purchase was to fill the void around the batteries with hot glue. Broke out the daughter's little hot glue jun and placed a fair amount of it on the corner opposite where the battery contact is. Then, quickly inserted the batteries being sure the still-hot glue did not squish out where the contact will touch when the two halves are snapped together. Once the glue set up, I reassembled and the FOBs have worked fine. I choose hot glue as it is durable enough to keep the batteries in place, but I can easily remove the batteries in the future when they need replacing.I suggest you get a fresh battery (one per FOB) for you FOB if you decide to use these. Why not.One star for me having to 'fix' the short-comings of this product.Three starts for ease of assembly (to install). Snap the two halves together.Four stars for value as it was way cheaper than a new FOB at the dealer.Three stars for durability...how do I know, have had them for a month now.

Great for replacing your old remote case, works perfectly, and easy to install.

I bought two of these. The first one did not work. That's when I realized the battery did not fit properly. The OEM case is on the left and the battery area has a little ring that is a little raised up which makes sure the battery has good contact with the circuit. The new case clearly does not. So for the new case, I cut an old plastic grocery store tag and it raised the battery up enough to create contact and it works perfectly. I tried the second case without raising the battery and it worked just fine right out of the box. So one required a little modification and the other worked fine without modification. The plastic on the new remote cases seems like it is more durable than the OEM ones, but time will tell. 4 stars because I had to modify one of them.

Super easy to open and remove origional key fob case. The circuit board had something stickey on it, probably because it was damaged and letting dirt and any type of liquid to seep into it. Had to adjust the battery clip a little bit so the new battery would make contact. At first it wouldn't work but after adjusting it works great! Looks like it is brand new and works like to. Great value! Anyone can replace their old key fob case. Save lots of money by doing so. Recommended. You will be impressed how easy it is to do, you will be asking yourself why didn't I do it sooner.

There is an added divider on the inside of the back half that will not allow you to install the factory internal parts. The front half and the rubber key pad does however work fine. I had to use the back half of my old key fob to make it work. The description is not exactly accurate from the seller.Other than that, it worked for my purpose.

This is only the case and buttons for the key fob. This is what I was needing. My case was cracked and the buttons were faded. This replaced both perfectly. No need to reprogram the fob!

La calidad del control es buena, cumple su función y es casi idéntico al original, en el interior tiene una muesca que no permite cerrar correcto pues choca con la batería, tuve que removerlo muy fácilmente y con ello cierra y sella perfecto, funciona genial lo recomiendo ampliamente

I have tried other brands of this fob and after a short time they broke. This set works great and easy to install the electronics . It seems to be a battery problem with the others but this one goes together with no issues. Better quality. There are two battery types that fit these but one is smaller so that may be the reason some people are having problems with a loose battery. Cr2032 fits this fob perfectly.

The are identical looking, but the internal pronges don't touch the circuit board properly, had to use tim foil trick to get connected, but any harsh moves and it is useless again.
