Comes with bolts!
Easy to install. Bolts are larger than OEM. Very happy with price point compared to auto parts stores.

Works.
Went in a truckload easier than the old one came out. Didn’t fling any rust whatsoever. Did slime me a bit with grease but that’s ok. I’ve been slimed by worse. Steering wheel no longer binds. One fatality inducing fault fixed, more to discover! Onward!

Took my truck to local service station for repair. They said the part would cost $250, so I bought the same part here for $50.It worked just fine, and the mechanic had no issues installing it.

Great alternative to buying from the dealership
I bought this to replace the shaft in my 2007 F150. A friend drove the truck and asked if she was supposed to use both hands to turn the steering wheel. The old one had locked up on the bottom end.I've read where some said they didn't get bolts with their's. Bought this in September 2021 and it came with bolts. The bolt heads are both larger than OEM but it works just fine. This is not an easy job especially if you don't have some tools. For me it was straight forward but I've been in the repair business for longer than I want to remember...Steering went from 2 hands and lots of effort to finger tip control again. 1 tip. Before asking if this will fit your VW or other car, read the list of what it does fit. If your car isn't on the list don't buy it. This is a quality part, it telescopes to fit just like the original did. I can recommend it because it works.

Perfect fit and great price
Real revies by G-ROCK(no pictures for this item)ITEM INFOI purchased this item as my 2008 Ford f150 FX4 5.4L started having steering issues. My steering became sluggish and started to fight me when turning. Upon research I came to find out that the universal joint(s) on the steering shaft go bad over time (130k miles). I am also located in the North East so the snow and salt beat the crap out of the undercarriage and other metal parts and pieces that are exposed to the elements. I researched the part needed and OEM as well as plenty of other aftermarket parts cost about $250. I was hesitant on purchasing this part from this seller due to the fact is was significantly lower in cost. I am glad I pulled the trigger. The part fit perfectly and install was somewhat simple. You will need some basic mechanical knowledge before tackling this replacemnt as getting to the lower shaft to set the bolt requires removing items not pertaining to the steering shaft. I needed to reuse the bolts that secured the old steering shaft (x2) and the bolts fit this part wihtout any problems. I read a couple reviews that stated they needed to bore out the bolt opening, however that did not apply to my application.PROSGREAT pricepart exactly as describeddid I mention GREAT priceshipping was quick and arrived undamaged and packaged properly.I would recommend this part to a friendI would recommend this seller to a friendCONSneed to reuse old bolts or order the appropriate ones for the application (2 bolts)

Fixed my stuff then loose steering.
Product came in 2 days. I got it today and installed it today. It is wider than the original and seems to be well made. We will see. I am always a little skeptical of after market but really it’s just a hunk of metal with U joints attached. I attached pictures to show you. Be sure to have a 16 mm and a 13 mm socket. Bottom bolt is easiest from under the truck. You may need to tie up your radiator hose with something to give you clear access to it? I used a strap. The part came with bolts so the company must have listened to everyone with complains in the reviews? You’ll need to take the bolts out completely to install this. It took me 2 hrs since it was my first one. My steering was loose and had about an inch and a half of play. It started off with the famous ford hard/no steer but then got real loose. This fixed it. It was a bad U joint. I hope this helps someone. My steering wheel is a little off now but I suspect it just needs an alignment.

Great Product - minor quality control issue.
Great product but check the o-ring seals around each bearing cap. Mine had a busted one. Installed anyway because I needed it. Keeping the exchange one for backup. Still less than $100 for an OEM that costs double that.
