I saw these on a sewing website and I thought they would be great for cleaning my sewing machine but I have used them so far for cleaning other tiny areas. Piano, stereo. Poor sewing machine has yet to get cleaned.

I bought these to clean my sewing machine at the recommendation of a sewing instructor, and I dropped two of them into the case - I'll need to unscrew the entire case to retrieve them! For everyday cleaning of sewing machines, I prefer pipecleaners because they're longer and easier to hold onto!

These work great! The med that I use is liguid, and pretty expensive so I didn't want to use something that would soak up and waste too much of the medicine.. just enough to apply it. These fit the bill perfectly. When I need more, I will be ordering more of these. They are reasonably priced, and also allow me to use all my medicine with out wasting any in super absorbent swabs that get thrown away. These were a wonderful find.
