These sheers work great! The straight blade of the scissors is scalpel sharp, as the deep cut on my finger can attest! So, be careful when clearing the scissors.

Super sharp and great value! I've purchased these before from same seller. Shipped super fast and these are a fantastic tool to have. My hair stylist doesn't use these so I use them to give my fine, flat hair some lift by doing some texturing myself. But ce careful if you have my super thin, fine hair. You don't want to end up with vald spots by cutting too much. My daughter has super thick, curly hair and I had given her my other pair of these scissors. They do a FANTASTIC job of thinning out a big, thick bunch of hair. I was stunned to watch her just start chopping away at her long, thick curly locks but it really looked 100% better when she was done. So no matter what type of hair you have, these are pretty great to use. I learned about these when my old stylist used them on my hair a very long time ago. She explained how she uses them to get the desired effect.

I was impressed with this product for a number of reasons. Comes in a really sturdy zippered case which is so roomy I can even store another pair of scissors in there. The scissors themselves are exceptionally sharp and well-made. A must-have for home or salon. *Highly Recommended*

These work and feel like thinning shears I've payed 3 to 4 times as much for. I usually prefer a little larger grip but for thinning shears this grip is comfortable and easy to palm. I love the W teeth design, I feel that it grabs the hair better. I am not sure of the quality of the metal. I feel that a more expensive shear could have a better quality metal that hold a sharp edge a bit longer, especially using these every day for work but for the price I don't think you can really get any better shear. I can add an update in a few months with how well the sharp edge holds up.

I wasn't expecting much considering how cheap these are. And I'm a hairstylist so I know Amazon isn't the best place to purchase shears, but I decided to give them a chance because they had good reviews and I definitely wasn't going to pay over $1000 for the kamisori brand chunking shears, but these definitely didn't meet my expectations. They aren't sharp enough. They have a knob to tighten the shears to get a closer cut but even then it doesn't work very well. Sadly disappointing.
