A MUST UPGRADE for GM 4T65E Transmissions
Simple to install. Eliminated the occasional slip then bang it would do taking off from a stop light. Change the fluid, filter and upgrade to the aftermarket pan with drain plug while your doing this job. Makes it a lot easier to service the transmission and filter and regular intervals without taking the transmission fluid bath.

Worth the money.
I had some slippage when at a stop going into first. This kit did not really help that too much. I notice am improvement when getting on the gas and downshifting, it gets into a lower gear much quicker. A lubegard trans flush, and lubegard red, lucas slip fix, and valvoline maxlife atf have seemed to help the slip into first. I really did not want to spend the money having someone open up the tranny for a $40 solenoid. This is a breeze to install just keep your pistons straight, the springs on top that are kept in place are different sized. For the money I figured it wouldnt hurt to do.

'02 Grand Prix
My 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix has 235,000 and the trans was slipping when cold, and the shifts between gears was taking to long. The TransGo 4T65E shift kit fixed all of that! I should have done this long ago!

Transgo always builds good products for transmission.
The transgo that I installed in my 2006 Chevy Impala with the 3.9L engine and the 4T65E is great. It helps with shifting. Any back yard mechanic can do it as it is done through the transmission pan removed for a filter a fluid change. If you want maximum performance and to prevent weak issues with the transmission you have to remove the side cover which most back yard mechanics could not do.

JUST DO IT.
I was a bit hesitant to install this but now that I have I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. I just used the springs and spacers for the accumulator and I could feel the difference before I got to end of my block. Once you get the accumulator out it's very simple. It actually took longer to bolt up the pan than to do the modification!!! My 2002 Buick LeSabre is driving like I had the tranny rebuilt. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you have the lazy 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.

Well worth the small cost!
I only installed the accumulator parts in the pan, but it made a huge change. Well worth the money if you have a 4t65e! I installed in an Oldsmobile silhouette.
