Totally worth the money

This is a cute toy, my toddler LOVES it. This is the first time getting something like this because toys like this tend to be a bit pricey and the novelty does wear off after playing with it once. However, I have to admit it is pretty cute and addictive - you do kind of want to "collect them all". My toddler immediately wanted to "bake" another one and was asking for more dough. I had to explain that you can only "bake" one in each oven. I wish it was a bit cheaper so I could get more. This set is the non battery powered version so there's no need to put batteries or anything.I do appreciate they made the oven reusable and it isn't something to be thrown in the trash immediately after. I didn't show my toddler how the mechanism works so I was doing "magic tricks" showing him the empty oven then "adacadabra", had him turn the oven knob, then the stuffed animal appeared. It was fun for about 5 times then the novelty wore off. However, it was fun while it lasted. My toddler can now use this as his pretend play oven since the entire thing is actually durable and half made of plastic, half cardboard. The oven door can be opened and closed. There's also a stovetop where if your child has small "pots and pan" they can pretend to cook on it.The stuffed animal is cute and does have a sweet scent to it, depending on which one you get. I wish they also made "refills" that come at a cheaper price, where you can get the dough and one stuffed animal so the parents can "refill" without having to repurchase the entire thing.Overall this is a cute collectible, great if you like this sort of toy. Not every toy has to be educational, it's alright to give your kids toys like this every once in a while. Like I said we don't get toys like this too frequently but I know my toddler definitely enjoyed this set. I will be getting a few more for him to do on special occasions and milestones.

I got this Surprise Pet toy for my daughter, who loves anything surprise-related. It comes with a recipe book, so she can read and follow along to make the dough herself. You mix the powder with water and knead it to create a dough that has a texture similar to flour, just like real baking!Once you put the dough in the oven and turn the dial, a cute surprise pet plushie pops out! You don’t know which one you’ll get, but my daughter was thrilled to get her favorite, Purry Éclair the cat. She was over the moon with joy!You can play with it multiple times, but the dough can only be used a few times before it needs to be thrown away. The oven itself is well-made, and she enjoys playing with the plushie alongside it. The plushie has a scent to it, and it’s bigger and sturdier than I expected.If you have a child who loves surprise pet toys, I highly recommend this set - it’s a lot of fun and perfect for creative play.

This oven is called Cookeez Makery, and it comes with a cute scented plush, dough to make the treat, mixing cup, and oven.I do wish there were updated instructions on the website or the packaging. This seems to be an updated version, so the instructional videos on the website didn't show this one without knobs on the bottom. The experience is the fun of it, so it's important to open correctly.I popped the oven open, removed all contents, and once the treat was mixed and created, I put it inside, shut the door, and twisted the right knob until it "popped". The left knob didn't do anything, but it didn't affect it. The plush popped down after the pop, and you open to see which one you got.The treat that you create, is the same that you get the plushy of. I had a little blue paper crackers that created a macaroon looking treat. It was easy to mix, and shows exactly how much water you need on the cup. It's not very messy at all.You can pop the plush back into the top part of the oven, and recreate the treat. You can play this over and over again and get to experience the "magic" of the Cookeez! It is a little pricey, but since it can be played with repeatedly, it makes it worth it. The stove is perfect size for bigger dolls and doubles as a fun furniture item to play with as well.This was so much fun, and the plush smells so good! It feels like the child really gets to really bake, without all of the risk involved. Great toy!

My daughter had tons of fun with this! Just wish you could buy accessory packs so that you could create additional things. Was fun for the experience but expensive for only being able to use it once.
