Draper 54722 Expert Axle Stand, 6 Ton Capacity, 870mm Height, Blue, Pack of 2

Absolutely worth the money, I’m a mobile mechanic and Seem to be using these more and more! Ford transit clutch’s are a piece of cake now! These give you so much ground clearance!

Bought a pair of ratchet style axle stands at my local motor shop, once I saw how little movement was needed to lock and unlock the ratchet I dumped them without ever using them! Bought these because for me they feel safer than the ratchet type.They work well and feel safe to use.The finish of them could have been better as they have sharp corners and edges.As mentioned in another review, I was concerned about the C shaped supports being too deep and contacting with the side air skirts of the car, but there're fine. I purchased the axle stands in Feb 2012 and I've added pictures to show the depth of my C shaped supports.Overall a great purchase, seeing as most other shops seem to stock only the ratchet type!

I had decided on this set after reading about the ratchet type, i got it in my head the ratchet system is ok but being old school i want to see its ok, two stands arrived and i have no problems working under my car now, i just need a good trolly jack and i'm happy.... Good solid stands will buy another set to get 4 wheels up to work happy

I bought these to match a pair of Draper axle stands that I bought some years ago but on delivery realised they were a different size. Rather than return them I bought an additional pair to match these. They are solid and well built

These axle stands are reassuringly solid and well made. They are tall enough to hold my Land Rover Discovery at a suitable height. They safely and securely hold a couple of tons of car above my head regularly - something I would not trust to lesser equipment. Excellent.
