An absolute pathetic joke just like their racks
I had to buy these because their racks dont come numbered - seriously who does that? then they sell this crap? These fell off after a day like everyone else in the reviews so i am crumpling them up and sending them back for a refund. I WISH I HAD AN EXTRA PAIR OF HANDS TO GIVE THESE FOUR THUMBS DOWN

Just Don't.... Period.
mine stuck to my rack for all of about 60 minutes. By the time I ate and came back they were pulling lose. By morning they had unstuck and coiled back up on the floor. These things are crap, no other way to put it.

Perfect for my rack mapping! Recommended
While it completely makes sense that this product exists, I had no idea it was even a thing. You see, in my work life, I want all racks mapped. Hardware should be registered to the rack, and the assets should be listed by U position within the rack. Some racks have the numbers already printed on the posts, and some don't (which is why Dymo label printers exist)… is this what I've been needing all along?Since the work environment is already taken care of, my interest in this product comes from my 28U half rack. While the positions are marked on the front posts, the rear posts have no markings at all! Considering my equipment (with the exception of the BBU) all looks the same, it was the perfect opportunity to use the StarTech.com Rack Unit Labels. The stickers appear to be fairly durable vinyl. The font is large enough, and the stickers are not glossy. In use my only issues were placement and the adhesive. The stickers are about a 1/4" wide, so you'll need a place on the post, or on an adjacent panel that allows you to see the printing. Aside from that, the adhesive is of the flat tape variety. It would have been nice to have some foam tape backing, as many racks have a textured paint or powder coat finish. I just used a plastic wedge that was for cell phone screen protector application to try to get the enough pressure on the tape for the best bond possible. I'm happy with the results. Recommended.

Great idea but just not sticky enough
Usually I am a big fan of StarTech everything and they do make some great products at decent prices that function near flawlessly. However, these rack unit labels just didn’t cut it for me.The idea is great and they looked promising to use. They would be extremely helpful on a larger and taller rack unit. But they just don’t stick well enough and keep lifting from the rack. The glue isn’t strong enough to hold the ends down to the rack unit, which is disappointing because they will likely have to be removed as they continue to lift off of the rack.Almost a good product, but this is one of the few things that I cannot recommend from StarTech.

simple and great rack management helper
Simple, yet wonderful! A set of numbers to mark the rack unit number for where a product is. Now, counting the units no a 42U rack isnt the toughest job in the world, but it gets old - this speeds that process up, reducing stress and speeding progress.I will be adding these stickers to all of our racks, and to every rack as we get it from now on.

Label Electronic Connections
When you have 4 or 5 devices hooked up to your computer and you need to keep track of which one is which when you take it apart and put it back together, these unit alignment strips are perfect! The rack you've hooked to the wall to align all the cords will be a perfect fit for these labels. If you have a drive on H, you want that same drive on H when you reassemble your computer. A new desk, or a long distance move makes these strips necessary. As an added touch, take a picture of everything before you disassemble it.

Spacing is not correct!
Spacing is off by about 1/16th of an inch per RU, by the time you get to the 49th RU it is way off.Would not recomend
