I’ve had two plugged in for about a week. I have yet to see any mosquito carcasses anywhere on or near either of my small nightlight sized plug in bug zappers. The 5star reviews are deliberately misleading because they ARE NOT FOR THE ADVERTISED PRODUCT. That said, I will continue to keep these plugged in for 30 days. If I still see nothing I’m sending them back or putting them in the trash.

We live in the woods, in the country. We have LOTS of bugs. No matter how careful we are about shutting doors behind us, repairing small holes in the screens, putting citrus peels around the threshold, cleaning the drains, the gnats, fruit flies, sewer flies and mosquitoes still find their way in. We now have 4 of them in use. They are quiet, never have I heard a zap, they are discreet in that they do not put off excessive light in dark rooms, they are a great night light when plug into a lower wall outlet and they work! I check them probably several times a month, all 4 of them have so many little flying insects in them I am surprised. Cleaning them is simple, I hold them over a trash can and gently tap them on the inside wall of the can, most all just fall off. What remains I use an old tooth brush or pipe cleaner and g.en.t.l.y. brush away. They are not sturdy so do not use a lot of pressure when cleaning.If we leave windows open, I move the any lights near the windows away so to not attract even more intruders.I will buy again and have already told one friend about them.

I originally gave it 1 star and posted that it doesn't work. I have to revise it, but it's still not good. I'd give a 1.5 star.Anyways I've noticed the occasional fruit fly at my place and one night I got bitten up badly , probably by mosquitoes so I bought this expecting it to catch the occasional bug. They never caught anything. The fruit fly infestation got worse and it still didn't catch anything. I started to squish them by hand. I FINALLY saw that one of them caught 2 fruit flies. That doesn't sound bad, but I've killed about 15 of them by hand at this point (and those buggers are hard to catch). I built one of those "fruit fly traps" and they worked far better than these things. I had to bump it up one star because it did manage to catch 2 in like 2 weeks of operation.That's actually is really bad considering there's probably like 35 of those buggers flying around in my place. These really don't work very well. I understand if it only caught one each night, but for two of them to catch 2 over the course of 2 weeks? I almost want to say it's just luck that it caught those 2 even. I told a friend of mine that I bought these and she basically said it was a mistake and none of these little ones actually work. She seems right.

They look like flimsy toys but they work! When I open the garage door, mosquitoes come in and feed on me repeatedly whenever I come into the garage. Having this plugged in there seems to be getting rid of them! I found a dead bee and a small fly caught in the coils so it does work! I haven’t found any of those hateful mosquitoes in there because i think they bounce off whenever they get zapped! Anyway no more bites when I’m in the garage. Hope they last.

This product does not work as described. I'm pretty sure the positive reviews are fraudulent because the product is a piece of trash.

These Bug Zappers DO NOT WORK!!!Gnats just fly right past them. Flys don’t even get close to them.

Not doing its job. It never catches a single bug
