Contamnated while still in packaging!
All of the agar plates were still in the sealed packaging from the day I ordered (8/09) till the time I decided to pull them off my shelf to use. Now today (8/24) I see that one of the dishes are contaminated. This makes me question if these dishes were actually poured in a sterile environment.Update 9/21: I found contamination in 2 other plates. Very dissatisfied!

Defective product revived twice in row.
I’ve never had issues with Pre sterilized petri agar and only made a couple orders with this manufacturer. But both times 100% of the Petri dishes resulted in contamination of the specimen. It should be noted that I received a vacuum sealed package but before the seal was broken I took these pictures. There was approximately 40% condensation seal within the package and within each petri. Seller replaced 1st of with another defect. I didn’t bother to return I just purchased with another company. I don’t have the time or money to waste and wait for history to repeat itself a 3rd time I did send an email to seller but never heard back.

Sealed yet very contaminated. Excess moisture. Buy MEA elsewhere.
Still vacuum sealed. Only 2 dishes uncontaminated. Growth everywhere! 1 of those 2 are usable, as there is way too much moisture in a lot of the dishes. Just Poor quality. Do not recommend..

Needs minor improvements - please individually seal
Came in a vacuum sealed bag, once opened there is no guarantee your plates won’t get contaminated- one of mine grew mold...unopened. I wish these were individually sealed prior to use to ensure no contamination up until use

Arrived Contaminated
Showed up contaminated. Multiple petri's were contaminated when I pulled it out of the shipping materials. Their packaging says they'll replace, but looks like I missed my timeline for this project. Also, not super confident that the next batch is going to be sterile since another cell was showing contamination a couple days later.

Severely Lacking in nutrition, extremely shallow agar depth.
I’ve purchased two 10-packs both of which contained two cracked plates, not to mention the depth of each pour is so minimal the plates dry up with even with proper para film seal an minimal mycelium growth, growth all around with different specimens is slow. I need something with better nutrition and depth of pour.

Poor quality agar and poor quality pouring
These plates are poor quality. There is excessive moisture inside and not enough nutrients for cultures to grow properly. The PDA plates are far superior to these for fungi cultivation, it's regrettable that these are not the same quality. Just a waste of money.

Great product/Great packaging
The Agar dishes came vacuum sealed and they all were perfect. Zero contamination. The color is how it looks in their picture. I’m new to mycology so I guess I can’t decide the true value of these but I guess knowing you have zero contamination before you receive your product is priceless. It was also packaged very well. I wish it were a bit cheaper though because I need more!!! Great buy
