After moving from my Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II to the DJI Osmo Action 4, I’m genuinely happy with the switch. The picture and video quality are excellent — sharp, vibrant, and incredibly stable, even during fast-paced shots. It feels like a professional setup in a very compact package. Choosing this over a GoPro wasn’t easy, but I kept seeing complaints about GoPro overheating and reliability, so I went with DJI — and I’m glad I did. It’s been dependable, easy to use, and the Essentials Bundle gives you plenty to get started. Charging via USB-C is super convenient, and there’s also the option to upgrade to a larger battery, which really helps for longer shoots. I also like that you can expand your setup — extra wide lenses give creative flexibility, and the cold shoe mount lets you add a microphone or light for better nighttime recording. One downside is the built-in microphone picking up a lot of wind noise. Thankfully, adding a dead cat (the furry wind muffler, not the feline!) solved that problem. Overall, it’s a versatile camera that’s been fun to use and feels like a solid investment — especially if you’re looking to level up your video content without the GoPro gamble.

A big step up from cheaper action cameras. This one is obviously high quality as soon as you pick it up. It is easy and intuitive to use, and yet offers lots of options to ensure you get the video you want. Especially useful for me is the ability to shoot at 24 FPS to get that "film like" video. The camera works fine in shallow water, not tried it in deeper. Battery life is good, even at 4K and the camera also does excellent slow motion and time lapse. Highly recommended.

I have a cheap action camera but wanted something a little better to record a ski holiday. Although not a big fan I had a look at a refurbished GoPro 10, knowing it would be better. Then realised for the price could get a new Action 4. Having watched a few review videos decided the Action 4 seemed to be better received by users. I'm happy I made the right choice. The image is bright and sharp and the horizontal hold is a great feature. There is probably not much difference with the GoPro but when you can buy new rather than refurbished and get some good features and a great camera, I'd recommend this happily.

Got this during the sales. Definitely worth the hype. The quality is Amazing. Use it with a smallrig neck mount and just walk, the stability is amazing. The quality of the video produced is amazing. highly recommend to watch YouTube videos around settings etc to get it perfect. I used d log initially and realised im not a pro and can't colour grade so was pointless. Left it as it was with adjustments to the colours through the camera.

Acheté parce que j'en avais assez de Go-pro et que je voulais voir un peu la "concurrence". Je ne suis pas déçu!! Après avoir téléchargé l'application (nécessaire pour "déclarer" la caméra) aussi bien sur mon galaxy S20 et mon Ipad, l'appairage est rapide. Il faut bien sur utiliser le Bluetooth et, si vous êtes chez vous, le Wifi (pour faire des lives par exemple!) Sinon, avec le smartphone, toujours en cas de live, mettez votre smartphone en "partage de connexion", ce qui vous donnera un "hotspot", avec le mot de passe (réseau) et ainsi, vous pourrez faire des lives. Oui, j'oubliais, l'application Dji MIMO permet de relier vos comptes Facebook et Youtube et Twitch (je crois) directement, afin de pouvoir diffuser en direct. Sympa! Bref, super qualité d'image vidéo, stabilisateur vraiment incroyable, rendu des couleurs et des ombres super (ayant un drone Dji Spark) la qualité est là! Se connecte rapidement, les compartiments batterie et cable s'ouvre "facilement" (contrairement à... gopro) et on apprécie l'écran frontal, qui permet de se cadrer comme il faut. On peut tout gérer avec l'application depuis le smartphone (ou la tablette) donc, rien à redire. J'ai testé sur une voiture télécommandée (voir photo) et le stabilisateur fait merveille. Pareil sur une perche selfie, le résultat est exactement ce que je voulais. Ayant déjà des accessoires variés pour ce type de caméra (fixations diverses, corps et véhicules), il me reste tout un tas de tests à faire, mais je ne regrette pas cet achat! Cette caméra est au top avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix! J'aime beaucoup cette marque..

Es mi primera action cam que compro y dudaba entre la dji Osmo y la goPro Hero 13(que vale 100 euros mas) y la verdad que esta cámara es maravillosa, el micrófono es genial como se escucha, incluso con algo de viento se sigue escuchando bien. Los colores me encanta y el 4k se ve genial, el estabilizador de esta cámara es increíble, en mis salidas de senderismo andando en terrenos irregulares, se mantiene la imagen super estable. Sin duda una cámara que por calidad/precio no creo que puedas conseguir otra(que si, que hay mejores pero también mas caras).

Alsoooo – ich hab mir die DJI Osmo Action 4 Essential geholt und was soll ich sagen: die kleine Kamera haut echt rein. Was mich gleich vom Hocker gehauen hat, ist wie endlich richtig gutes 4K-Material aus so einem kompakten Ding kommt. Die Bilder sehen richtig sauber aus, auch wenn’s draußen mal nicht die Sonne satt gibt – Low-Light-Aufnahmen sind hier kein Grauschleier-Chaos mehr, sondern echt brauchbar. Das merkt man besonders, wenn man abends filmt oder drinnen unterwegs ist. Die Bedienung ist auch sowas von „ich pack das schnell ein und filme los“ – kein nerviges Gefummel. Akku hält gefühlt ewig für so ein Mini-Teil. Klar, es ist jetzt keine Profi-Kinokamera, aber für Reisen, Action-Vlogs, coole POV-Clips oder auch mal Nachtaufnahmen: Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Die Farben sind knackig (10-Bit-Farbraum macht echt nen Unterschied), der Bildstabi zieht auch bei wilden Bewegungen überraschend gut durch und ich hatte kaum Verwackler. Einziger Mini-Kritikpunkt: Wenn du nach Zubehör-Gigantismus suchst, musst noch ein paar Sachen extra holen – aber für den Start-Mix ist das „Essential-Combo“ echt solide gepackt. Unterm Strich: saubere Action-Cam, die liefert, was sie verspricht. Für den Alltag, Urlaub und Sport-Kram kann ich sie echt empfehlen.

Fantastisch toestel. We hebben dit gebruikt om in de Caraïben te filmen en de beelden zijn subliem. Kan echt wel concurreren met zijn duurdere tegenmaatje.
