Universal. Was able to make it work on a J32A2
I was able to make it work for my J32A2 motor. I changed valve stem seals with the motor installed in my 1999 Miata(motor swap obviously).

Good for price.
Worked for valve seal change on 94 Corolla 1.6. Tool finish not great, especially on cast pieces (part that touches spring retainer was pretty uneven, not too bad to grind flat though, price you pay for a budget tool..) air hoses and fittings worked fine, but kinda rough. The half moon pivot point on the pry bar made it a lot less stable (as opposed to full hole) but a little mechanics wire made it a lot better. I suppose this design was to make it easier to move from valve to valve. If you have a helper it's fine, but if working alone I would definately wire the pry bar to rod, and also wire the ends of the rod so it doesn't walk out of the stands. The grip is also extremely slippery when covered in oil, which it most likely will be.m. probably better to cut the plastic off it... can't say how how strong it is as I was working on a tiny engine with small springs and was able to manipulate them one handed. This would probably do heavier springs, but would really need a second set of hands. All and all, if doing 1 or 2 cars, its great. If planning to use regularly, probably want something better.

Can be made to work with some extra effort.
I used this for replacing the stem seals on a 1991 Honda Civic (16-valve D15b1 engine). I imagine results would be similar with any number of 80s-90s Honda 4-cylinder engines. For a lot of people this is a one time job so the tools just need to be good enough for one use. Mostly that is the case here. The spring compressor brackets required modification to attach to the cylinder head. So make sure you have a grinder to make some small modifications. It would not fit otherwise in my case. Once the modifications were made it worked good enough. The seal pullers are worthless. They just did not work. A regular pair of pliers worked (large enough to fit over the valve stem). None of the attachments for the seal installer really worked very well. They are too big to use in the compact little engine. A deep socket worked fine though. It doesn't take much force to install them. The the keeper remover tool and the air compressor attachment were fine. For re-installing the keepers the best tool is a pop-sickle stick broken longways. The keepers are so small that the faintest magnetic attraction, of just ordinary steel, tends to move them around; so the wood pop-sickle stick solves that.
