I bought this is 2019 for my solar generator which has sat outside with a tarp over it. Exposed conductors tarnished etc. I upgraded my batteries and was testing and accidentally hit 241 amps and it blew in seconds. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE SPARE IN AN OBVIOUS PLACE. After 5 years I can't find it. I'm getting a breaker to replace it but this was worth every penny!

Essential safety gear. While I personally have not caused it to break, I have seen videos of it being pushed and it did what is expected. Hopefully I’ll never need it but it is installed! This company makes excellent welding cable that is flexible and works great for carrying high amps. You may need to crimp your own ends though.

This fuse and holder is as was expected for materials and workmanship, however, the case and cover are NOT blue in color as shown in the photo! The plastics are CLEAR, which doesn’t affect function, but is disappointing as I purchased this in hopes of being able to quickly identify my fuses with the color being an indicator. The product will work fine and the additional spare fuse is a benefit.

Used this fuse holder on a solar install and liked the quality so I bought me one for a kit i'm installing at home for my own use. First one I ordered, (ships from amazon, not seller's fault) shipped inside a box, protected....this time amazon shipped it in a dinky little plastic bag....wasn't thrilled about that, considering how packages are treated by the various hands they pass through at the carriers locations to get to you....but, thankfully, it's a good, tough product....didn't break the plastic fuse cover, so that's awesome. saved the seller, cause i'll be back for more!

First went with a 200 amp breaker to protect my 300ah 12v lithium battery between 3000w inverter charger in RV. The breaker consistently tripped under a 70 amp charge or a 90 amp discharge. An electrician told me to try an ANL fuse. Problem solved. Battery now charges at 75 amp rate and I can run my coffee maker that sucks about 150 amps. Happy and caffeinated in the desert.

Overall, I'm concerned with the plastic. The cover doesn't stay in place, which may cause a short. I will secure it with a hold down. And I'm worried the bolts that secure the fuse will turn in the plastic making it difficult to replace fuse in the future.

so these look good and i hope they never have to work cause then something is wrong, fuses are well constructed the bus is ok, plastic needs better connectors

I'm happy with the fuse so far, it came with 2 and I'm glad it did because it saved my ebike from blowing up with the first fuse. Just wish it was in a smaller casing.

Easy to install for an inverter in our camper. Nice to have the xtra fuse. Couldn't find a big amp fuse like this locally.
