Works great and 5 years and counting
Bought one 5 years ago, wired a cigarette lighter type plug into it, I switch it around all winter keeping all my equipment batteries topped off, works great, about to buy another so I don't have to switch it around so much

Short cords
It appears to be doing what it was meant to do.The cords are extremely short and it is impossible to follow the installation directions.

Great maintainer!
I have 3 of these on board maintainers because they are compact enough to mount almost anywhere in your engine compartment. Work great on different types of batteries. Definitely recommended for any vehicle being stored for periods of time.

Finding a good spot to mount was a channel but that's vehicle specific. Works frine!
Installed in an older Grand Caravan that may sit for long periods during long, Minnesota winter. This helps keep the battery topped off so I don't have to go out every day to burn gas and keep battery charged. Was able to tie wrap it to the bulkhead but otherwise would have needed to pull battery and other parts to find a place to screw it in securely. If you're using it for an automotive-style battery, the lead lugs were big enough to fit the 10mm bolts on the offset battery clamps but nothing larger, so you might have to modify them to fit larger bolts or posts. More than large enough for marine or ATV batteries. Would have been nice to include a cap for the exposed AC plug but I'll try to pick one up locally to keep the prongs from corroding over time - I left mine sticking out from under the hood so I can easily plug it in - just make sure you're not pinching the AC power cord.
