I bought this watch to replace my 6-year-old Garmin Instinct. I had a watch face protector on the old one never got a scratch. So far, I really like the Instinct 3 Solar 45mm. Of course I purchased watch face protection with this one as well. I like simplicity so this watch has more features than I will use and that is okay. I am handing down my original Instinct to my Grandson and hope he gets a few more years out of it. If this Garmin lasts as long as my first one, It will be well worth the money. I like Garmin products, and hopefully their quality will stay the same.

Love it, once you figure it out, it's great. GPS works very well, wide variety of activities you can track. One key piece of advice... got to the Garmin site and download the PDF guide... you could go blind reading the type in the manual that comes in the package..

I love the watch. It is expensive but it is worth every penny. It tracks every metric that you might find useful and the solar screen pulls its own weight. I’ve had it for a week and I still haven’t plugged it in. It will randomly stop showing the weather due to phone connection loss.

Great Watch

Came fast, exactly what I expected

Far from rugged. Cheap feeling plastic body and the the screen isn’t even a glass material. Whatever material it is it scratches very easy. I have a few nasty scratches/scuffs within the first week and that’s just around the house and I baby the watch trying to make sure it stays nice. For 400 plus $ expected it to be more rugged like they claim. Should’ve just stuck with a gshock at least they are truly rugged.

I had a hard time finding the right Smart Watch for me. A lot of them had too much going on that often made them unstable. I heard good reviews for Garmin watches and switched to one of their cheaper lines. After 4 years that watch is still in perfect shape.As a treat I upgraded to the Instict 3. This watch is seriously more impressive that I could've imagined. Its very smooth at tracking my various workout programs and factoring my calorie tracking. Its got a sleak menu design that is fun to navigate. Its got tons of utility in it too. This is a great watch!I'd also like to add that this is a 5/5 seller. The seller packaged some extra adapters that makes charging this watch so much more convenient. Tip top stuff!
