the girls that received this doll head as gifts, like it except that we all thought the hair would be a little more coarse as being a lighter tone ethnic/black doll, also/and the darker tone black doll head hair we thought would be more coarse or kinky, was also a bit straight for the african braid practice and cant make a straight part in hair. But other than that they love it, would love if you specify the texture of the hair from kinky to silky smooth black /ethnic hair..thank you!

I'm really enjoying my HairZtar mannequin. I solely ordered it to learn how to braid and flat twist. I will eventually explore other hairstyles but this was my main purpose for my purchase. It was a pain watching YouTube videos and trying to grasp the concept on my 5 year old daughter's hair when I'm ready to style. Not productive at all. With this mannequin I was able to do that. I am proud to say with the short time I've had it I was able to achieve braiding and flat twisting in the matter of 2 weeks. Yay me! The texture is excellent. My only complaint about this item is it sheds a lot I mean a lot. But other than that it does what I intended for it to do. If you can get past all the shedding then I would say go for it and buy this mannequin.

Great mannequin. I am able to do a lot of styles. I washed and conditioned the hair so I have had little to no shedding. There are a couple of cons...it is hard to part the hair, slight smell when it came, and the texture of the hair was not as described.

This head is wonderful, it looks so real that my grown kids thought it was someone sitting on the couch. Boy! were they fooled. Lol...This product meets all expectations, I recommend this to anyone learning how to do hair. It did not come with direction on how to put it together but it's easy to figure out, I did. Thank you

So the doll head was as expected. However, the connector sent did not fit. I was under to secure it to the doll. My daughter was very upset. I had no contact info for the seller!

Hair is NOT kinky but my 15yr old likes it HEAD DOES NOT come with a stand and this is 3rd product from Amazon to NOT arrive on time. Head is ok for a KID.

It didn't shed alot I love that I thought the doll was going to be darker but its actually lighter than the picture that they have on here. The hair is really good you can do can hair style that you want to with it
