Fit great, at this price i'll just through them out when they get dirty. As much as dyson wants to think their filters are washable truth is they are not. The dust inside clumps up when wet and then they stink to high heaven. Buy these and just throw them away when they get dundgy.

We have a Dyson stick vac that we were gifted for Christmas to help maintain the amount of dog hair from our dog who sheds like he regrows a full coat overnight (ughhh). Anyway, despite never having vacuumed up anything nasty, the vacuum exhaust started to smell horrid. I tried cleaning the original purple filter per Dyson's instructions and it made the smell worse somehow. Enter these filters. I had no idea that I could replace the filter so inexpensively! These fit the budget and fit the vacuum perfectly, just like the original filter. Now I can vacuum again and breath in and out through my nose at the same time...what a gift!

These fit my Dyson V6 Animal perfectly. They are well made. What really surprised me was that even though I have followed Dyson's instructions for caring for the original filter, I had no idea just how clogged up and weighed down with embedded dirt it was until I held one of these new filters in my hand. The old one weighed about 3X as much as a new one. My vacuum is doing great again. No cranky behavior or short run-times.

I did not know how to open this filter.If your filter has a funny smell you need to open to clean it thoroughly.Once I figured it out, they were ordered. (small clips just pry edge back to release blue sack from top)Might not of ordered. So now when one needs cleaning pop in replacement and good to go instead of waiting to dry

I checked with Dyson and they recommend that the filters be cleaned monthly with water and replaced yearly. I have had my Dyson cordless for many years and didn't know this.Battery life is so dependent on a clear air flow throughout the vacuum. The filter is an important component!If you don"t know how to really clean out your Dyson from head to motor, check You Tube for guides. It made such a difference in my machine performance.

My Dyson animal is the hardest working machine in my house. Plus, we are hard on the Dyson.We have a Golden Doodle (that wasn't supposed to shed, mind you) and there are one husband and a 10 year old boy. I vacuum at least once a day. The vacuum has fallen many times and at one point the top of the filter cracked, but for awhile it still worked fine. Then all of a sudden the on-off cycling started. This was how my last Dyson died a painful death. And that was after I spent $$$ sending it to be repaired. I watched every YouTube video and cleaned the hack out of it, washed the filter, but nothing worked. I decided to take a chance to buy new filters - I figured if I had extras I would wash them more frequently anyway. Because you have to let them dry overnight this was always a deterrent to washing them (see note above about vacuuming All. The. Damn. Time.)Anyway, popped this new filter in and Wa-La - worked fine immediately and oh my! The suction that Dyson was famous for was back -I hadn't realized how much it had denigrated with the broken filter.I'm still going to get a new Dyson to leave upstairs so I don't have to carry this one all over the house, but it is great to have this one functioning again for such a low cost.

They filter like crazy these are just like the one shipped with the Dyson V7.Now for the downside;They get clogged easily and quickly.I live in a HIgh Mountain Desert region of Colorado.It is always dusty here, and with two shedding cats and a shedding dog, the carpet gets mucked up with pet hair and dust. I currently have 4 of these filters, and in a normal day, I will go through all four.They are SOMEWHAT easy to take apart and clean, Dyson would have done better if they had them easier to take apart to clean.

Overtime, my vacuum started smelling horribly, perhaps due to my roommates using it to vacuum the litter box area. I decided to take it apart and thoroughly clean the vacuum as well as wash all the filters, but it didn't help with the horrible smell. I finally purchased these filters and BAM, no more smell! The filter I replaced last November is still going strong and we use the vacuum at least once a day (imagine 5 of 7 women in one household with long hair). These filters last long and works well. They fit perfect with a Dyson V6 cordless
