I love the taste, I love the natural golden yellowing color!! I also use it for my whole body. I don’t care if it has a very lite beefy smell! What do people expect? If you want something organic , very minimal processed product. If you want something really good that is close to its natural form for your body this is the product. I am going to order again a second largest jar.

Great! Enjoyed cooking with it! Smells like beef and it might make some things taste a little beefy, for example if you cook eggs with it, roasting veggies, but the food cooks great! Also you don’t get any bloating after meals! Used only a cast iron- did not try on a stainless steel pan. Did try on skin, it was good but did not use frequently because I smelled like hamburger if I did. Ha!

I love the taste of this tallow. It adds flavor to every dish I make. However, if you plan to make DIY cream, I recommend rendering it once or twice to reduce the smell l.(tasty smell for cooking, though)

It was my fault, I should have purchased a small one first but goodness it smelled so awful. And not only that it tasted like it smelled. Super beefy. I even tried to clean it twice and while the smell did get better it was still bad. I just threw it away. So basically I paid almost $50 for a very nice glass jar. Maybe I just got a bad jar.

Just braised a roast in it, and it's very good. Smells and tastes like it should. The jar came in a box with other items, but was beautifully packaged in it's own box to limit and absorb any leaks, with an additional sleeve over the jar to contain any broken glass, plus the lid was very securely closed and tightened, and with an intact security seal to insure that it hadn't been opened before, and all of this in excellent condition after having been shipped.

I’ve been using beef tallow to cook with for a few years and decided to give this tallow a try since it is local to me. The tallow is amazing! Great flavor, high smoke point, and way healthier than seed oils. Buying from a small local company is better than big box store brands. If you’re already used to tallow try it, if you’re looking to move away from unhealthy seafoods, try it! If you like your food to have a great buttery-beefy taste, TRY IT!
