my usual ceramic knife got a dent in it so I decided to turn away from them. So for this one works just as great. I've been using it mainly as a fruit knife so I haven't used it much in the kitchen yet but I'm sure it'll perform just as well. The knife also comes in a very nice box so since it's the holiday season, gifting it to your food enthusiast friend could be a good idea.

Updated: after around 3 or 4 of gentle use of cutting vegetables and fruits like tomatoes, the head of this kitchen knife became curved. Not heavily but still decided to buy a new replacement instead.bought this for my mum because she was kept complaining about her old chef was too dull, and of course, sharpening didn’t work so long as she hoped. The reason I chose this one is because I saw the vedio how this knife sharp is, which really surprised me. I do really glad that mom is happy with this knife, and I can see how sharp it is-just like how it acts in the vedio. Only use it for couple weeks for now, hope it’ll have same quality after years :) It’s works well with veggies, not sure about fish or meat. Only one thing the old lady doesn’t very satisfied with is the weight of the handle, she thinks it’s a little bit heavier, but for me it’s fine. Hope this will be helpful. And cannot give a 5-star because the lady truly complained about it.

When this knife arrived, I really had no expectations. I just needed a new knife and the price was very good. It was good-looking. I happened to be getting some tomatoes ready for slicing when it arrived and my husband showed it to me. I decided to try it on the tomatoes--I usually half smash instead of cut those. This knife makes me want more tomatoes! I went through everything for dinner with no effort. I am in awe of this knife. What am I going to do with all the rest of my expensive knives?--I will never reach for them again as long as I have this one!! Now this is what I call downsizing...we're going to be a one knife household.

Got the job done

Let me straight with you, This isn't the greatest knife in the world. But being a knife fanatic I take my knives very seriously and for the price. I don't think you can beat this knife. It has a great weight and balance. The edge came super sharp and shave hair out of the box. It's not the prettiest knife in the world but if your buying knives to look at then your probably not looking at this knife anyway. If however, you want a good chef knife without paying a fortune then look no further.

This knife is piece of garbage it’s broke right after a day I prefer don’t waste your for this item

Pretty sharp upon arrival, dont hold the edge for long, would not be as sharp again after sharpening even with 10,000 grit.

For an in expensive knife, perfect for the kitchen. I'm a chef an I have no problem with it so far.
