easy to use. matched description. toasted evenly. slot size let me toast bagels correctly, Lighter than expected.

Very useful

I got this to replace my years old simple toaster with the dial and push lever. It had developed a mind of it's own and toasted to whatever darkness or lightness it wanted to on any given day. So far I have been pretty happy with this. It is much bigger than my old toaster so I can't leave it on my space challenged counter when not in use. It's nice looking. The touch screen is very intuitive - you don't have to read a manual three times and keep it handy for reference. It's straightforward. The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean. The only glitch is that the two sides don't toast the same. One side seems accurate and toasts to the color on the screen. The other seems to be a couple of levels below the color selected. I've tried it numerous times using the same type of bread and even though the timers are the same and the bread in both sides toasts for the same amount of time one side just doesn't toast as much. If you push for the darkest shade from the bottom row of options you actually only get the darkest shade on the top row of choices. But at least it's consistent about that so I can just keep that in mind when using it. . Other posters don't seem to have the problem. All in all I like it. Just can't do 4 slices of well toasted bread at once. I think it's just a glitch with mine. I'm still giving it three stars because of it's versatility, ease of use and attractive appearance. And it does make four pieces of toast at once.

This toaster is awesome. You can program each side separately, so you can have a bagel on one side and regular toast on the other. And you can choose different toast shades - no need for numbers, just pick the darkness you want. There's even a reheat function for when you toast too early and the bread gets cold. Five stars!
