Horribly dim picture, very disappointing!

It took about 5 minutes to replace the rear backup camera on by Ram 2500 pickup. It works fine.

Bought this camera to replace the current one that was blurry. Install was pretty easy. Picture is definitely better than the old one.

I purchased this to replace the factory reverse camera on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. It was plug and play. So it works fine. Hopefully it continues to do so.

2011 Ram 1500 oem backup cam replacement. Easy instalation and video quality as good as oem cam ! But at least half price of the oem .I just hope it lasts at least few years (oem cam was working for about 8 years but for last year it was start failings until it stopped working completely so if you see a black screen instead of rearview mostly your camera just went down. You can check camera connection in you truck tailgate before you order new one but in my case it was bad camera issue )

Picture quality was very bad. It was very dark, much worse than the ten year old original camera. I found it unusable. After seeing the picture, I didn't mount it, but I did try to see how it would fit. The fittings on the camera were not the same as the original. Looked like the fitting were made to attach to a variety of tailgate mounting configurations. I think longer screws than the originals would have been necessary. I returned it to Amazon and am still looking.

This camera attached to the existing wiring harness and mounting position on the backside of the tailgate handle. When I turned the key to the on/start position and placed the gear selector in reverse, there was a crisp, colorful picture of what was going on behind the truck. It even had the super-imposed guide lines that the factory camera did not have. I am very pleased with the product, and the customer service/shipping experience was top notch. Thanks for providing what you said you would provide!

It is exactly as advertised. Easy to install, took me about 15 mins. Worked right off. As good or better then original. Camera lens on original is slightly curved on surface, this one is flat. Looks sharp nice fit, no issues. Two thumbs up.

product was super easy to install and works perfectly. I even appreciate the "lane lines' it shows which my factory camera didn't have. However, the feed looks to be a fair bit darker and makes it a bit more difficult to see as far as I used to be able to when backing up in the dark.

I was cautiously optimistic that this aftermarket rear camera would work on my 2010 Dodge Ram. That being said it was a simple install and replacement. Before putting things back together I fired up the truck and put in reverse to engage camera and VIOLA! Saw a nice clear image on the factory screen! It even came with the parking lines and all, however lines do not move as wheel is being turn but this is not a deal breaker for me. All in all, great product and for sure worth the value in comparison to OEM.

Don’t waste your money on this camera !It is so dark,you can’t see anything.

i dont know about some of the reviews of this being dark but i just installed in my ram and its clearer than the factory camera and it has the colored guide markers on it too factory camera did not..kind of glad my original camera died this one is way better.
