Very efficient and easy to install. Buy Nylog!
This unit works really well even on some really hot days in the 100's. The ECO mode works great for maintaining the temperature after the room has been cooled, so far it hasn't been particularly expensive to run, I use it in my bedroom at night so I can't speak for the effectiveness in a large room, but for a bedroom this the cheapest and most efficient way to keep the room comfortable in the summer. I haven't tried out the heater yet, but that'll be in an update in the future. The unit is very quiet, you can barely tell it's on, the mute setting is probably not the most efficient setting but it does keep the room around 3 degrees of the set temperature late at night and it doesn't make the room drafty. The only qualm with this unit is the blower doesn't shut off after the set temperature is reached and it sometimes gets a lot colder than the set temperature, I had it set to 65 and it got down to 51 one night, I don't know why that happened, but on the ECO mode it seems to stay within the set temperature range until I turn it off. The app works great and is very easy to use, there's a setting to purify the air and it seems to work, although there's some debate on the potential dangers of being in an enclosed room while it's set, due to some ozone being produced. There's also some timer settings and a sleep mode that allows for the temperature to be gradually changed throughout the night until it turns off. The unit was very easy to install, the hardest part is making a hole in the wall and bending the lines, everything is very basic. You will need some extra things to install it. I bought a whip to run power to the main unit directly from the breaker box and a pull out disconnect. I used a vacuum pump to vacuum out the lines and check for leaks, I used Nylog on the fittings, I highly recommend it, I had no leaks whatsoever, overall it's very easy to install and can be done in 2-3 hours depending on what your walls are made of and the distance you have to run the lines.

Great product, affordable, and easy to install
I’ve been using the YITAHOME 12000 BTU mini split for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. The cooling power is excellent. Purchased for our ADU we built. It easily 500 sqft area cool even during hot afternoons, and the heating function works surprisingly well on chilly nights. Installation took some time but was very straightforward thanks to the complete kit and clear instructions. I appreciated that everything needed was included, which saved me an extra trip to the hardware store. Once it was up and running, the unit was whisper-quiet and very energy-efficient. The WiFi control and Alexa compatibility are great modern touches. Being able to adjust the temperature remotely or with voice commands makes daily use super convenient. Overall, this YITAHOME mini split offers strong performance, sleek design, and features that usually cost much more in other brands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable ductless system without breaking bank.

Great quality
Easy to install but recommend getting a higher quality line set. Been working great since installation. It is very quiet. Would consider buying a second unit before any others.

Customer Service stinks!
I purchased this unit for a pool bathroom and wanted to be able to turn on/off with the app. The unit cools fine, but it will not connect to the internet, Customer service is horrible. When you call you get voicemail which says they will call back, they never do, Once i actually got a human, all he could do was take a message & promise me a call within 24 hours, still waiting after 2 weeks, I did try email and exchanged 3-4 times. I think it may be narrowed down to the wifi module, but now they won't respond to email either.

Works Great and Easy to Install — App Setup Needs Work
Purchased on 3/18/25, and this YITAHOME 12,000 BTU mini split has been working great so far. It cools and heats efficiently and keeps the space comfortable without running constantly. Once installed, it’s quiet and performs exactly as advertised. The physical installation was surprisingly easy for a mini split. If you’re even moderately handy, it’s very doable. Just be aware that you will need a vacuum pump and a manifold gauge set to properly evacuate the lines — those are not optional and not clearly emphasized. My only real complaint is the app setup. The Wi-Fi instructions are practically non-existent, and getting it connected took way longer than it should have. Once connected it works fine, but the setup process is frustrating. Overall, it’s a great unit for the price with strong performance and straightforward installation. With better Wi-Fi instructions, this would easily be a 5-star product.

DYI friendly, no experience needed. You tube.
Very quiet, works great. Put this on my TT camper and works wonderfully. You will need to buy some HVAC tools. A vacume pump and adapters, a flaring tool and some blue monster. You have to vacume the system before releasing the gas. To have someone do it for you is insane expensive. Buy the tools. Its very easy to do yourself and you will have the tools if you need them again instead of a insane cost for a company to do it. Will update in a year and let you know if it lasts.

Very efficient, excellent warming/cooling. REQUIERES VACUUM PUMP or HVAC professional.
I did have a problem with my initial delivery, but that issue was handled pretty smoothly with amazon return. Rockey start aside, and after having used this product for hot and cold weather, I am extremely satisfied with the output of this thing. I live in a single wide trailer (525sq ft) with failing insulation and draft holes everywhere and have been able to stay comfy on either end of the house, with the added bonus of a drop in the electric bill compared to window units and space heaters. install was easy and rather intuitive. However, YOU WILL NEED A VACUUM PUMP to draw the initial vacuum, it is not explicitly stated and to someone with no HVAC exp. this is not something you would inherently know ("Quick Connect" units DO NOT require you to draw the vacuum). This is the only "skilled" portion of the install. That being said it is easy to do but requires a good amount of attention to detail. you can typically hire a HVAC guy for around the same cost of a vacuum pump, use at your own discretion. I have no real complaints about it. it is insanely quiet; you can barely tell when the indoor unit is on; you hear the air 'whooshing' more than the fan. The outdoor unit is also really quiet and cannot even really be heard inside. Even with this place not being sealed, it is able to keep the humidity down during the summer and is doing well so far this winter. the remote is just a nice quality of life improvement as well. Product is exactly as advertised and far exceeds expectations. I even have family and visitors, unprompted, ask me where I got it because of how nice if feels in the house.

A true bargain.
It looks good and works well. An easy installation. There are several good installation videos on youtube. This is not my first installation, but I looked at youtube to assure Yitahome did not have any wrinkles that might crop up. There were none. I have no idea if the A/C will work. It is too cold to test it, but the heat option works well. Unfortunately by the time it gets warm enough that I can test the A/C my window of opportunity for return will have closed. I installed this in a She Shed. It is a portable building similar to those you see everywhere on rent to own lots. We had one built specifically for this application. It is insulated and paneled so the mini works great for this application. It is well packed and comes with good instructions. Should you need help youtube is a definite source for additional information. If you can install this yourself, which I recommend, you will save yourself at least $400.00 With just a bit of mechanical comprehension it is an easy chore. I do recommend you get a flare seal kit. They are available on Amazon and dramatically reduce the potential for leakage. Another thing I have is tubing nut wrenches. In all of the youtube videos I have watched, including by professionals, I have yet to see anyone use these. They make the job so much easier when tightening the nuts. I was able to test the A/C today. I heated the she shed up to where I could run the A/C. It was not a long test, but it worked well.
