Important resource for families
I bought this book hoping to gain more insights for the family members I work with as a DBT therapist. I found this book helpful, insightful and easy to read. I will most definitely make this a recommendation!

A standout in the field
Not all books about BPD are positive and hopeful -- this one is a welcome exception that anyone who loves someone working through BPD would find useful on a day-to-day basis.Amanda's book takes the reader through 52 weeks of ideas for creating better relationships. While not every idea will appeal to every person, I found the overall impact of the suggestions incredibly helpful and, as I worked through them, validating. The self-care assessment in particular has already helped me prioritize my own health -- something everyone should do consistently.This is Amanda's second book and she's now two-for-two in creating real-world, helpful titles. I hope we see more work from her in the future!
