One of the best gimbal in the market. I brought one month before and it’s amazing. After two or three hours video capturing the battery still has more than half. The performance was amazing. Thank you Insta 360 and Amazon.

Prodotto di ottima fattura che migliora diverse criticità dei modelli precedenti (tipo i piedini del treppiedi), ma che esprime le massime potenzialità con sistema operativo iOS. Su iPhone c'è un totale supporto alle varie fotocamere, che è garantito solo per alcuni modelli Android (trovi la lista sul sito ufficiale), o DockKit che permette il tracking di persone anche in app differenti da quella Insta360 (su Android puoi usare la live mode, ma non sempre è garantito un buon risultato o l'effettiva riuscita). Insomma, se lo smartphone non è pienamente supportato forse conviene puntare ad un prodotto differente (Osmo 7P/iSteady V3) o l'acquisto del tracker che si trova in vendita separatamente.

It feels well built, the editing software is fine and once you have worked out how to set it up and get going, it's fine. Setting-up instruction are poor as are the tutorials. Instead of Step 1 - do this. Step 2 - do that etc, it was a vague set of muddled instructions or missed key steps. 1. There is now a well-documented issue with the iPhone 17 Pro - it scratches easily so you are recommended to slap a case on immediately. To use this gimbal with the clamp, however, there is a problem - it doesn’t grip the phone as well as it should if you have a case on, certainly not enough to be confident about. You need to remove the case first, and that takes away the quick and easy usefulness of the gimbal. 2. Although on paper looks light, I noticed it is actually tiring to use after a while, especially when trying to get the gimbal to do what you want, not what it wants! And I didn’t think it was that small., either. Maybe it will fit in a backpack or coat pocket but the idea you'd carry it around in a trouser pocket is fanciful. 3. It really has a mind of its own! Trying to get the camera lined up and locked into position was not always easy or successful. Some modes like free tilt may have you scratching your head. Why does the gimbal constantly tilt the camera, even when you have your shot lined up and have the trigger held in to lock all the motors? I had to constantly try to correct this, and again, not always successfully. I also struggled getting a dolly forward shot that cut close to the ground because of the tilt, and lining it up parallel to the ground was very hit or miss. 4. There are 4 buttons a trigger a joystick and a rotating ring. There are at least 15 different modes and functions, and each requires a combination of one or more buttons to be pressed, or a sequence of operations, and one or more clicks. I found it impossible to remember even half of them, and had to constantly go back to the manual, which slowed the work flow right down. Commonly used features like a double click of the trigger to reset the phone position you’ll remember, but after that ….. 5. There is a light in the centre. Depending upon where it is, it obscures the tiny helpful lettering next to it - not a good design. 6. I compared using the gimbal to using just the iPhone 17 Pro with a small selfie stick and achieved comparable results that were a lot quicker and easier to access using the native camera app! Be warned as well - the camera battery drains very quickly when using the gimbal, compared to using the camera without one! 7. The software - it worked 90% of the time, but I was asked to close and reopen the app more often than I should have to. Overall, I'm disappointed. It doesn't do what it promised to do and will be returned.
