A very cute board book. The little story is rhyming. I sometimes actually sing the words from the book as we read through it to the classic children’s song of Itsy Bitsy Spider. It works out perfectly.

My son is 17 months old and he was so in love with pumpkins this year! He loved pointing them out in the stores and in all of the Halloween / Fall decorations. So, I bought this book for fun. It's so perfect. It's a great size board book that is just the right size to have nice, clear illustrations and still small enough that he can hold it well himself. The tune reads like the Itsy Bitsy Spider, which is also one of his favorites, and it's great for us both. He likes the sing-song-y, rhyming tunes (and so do I). Great seasonal book, but I'm sure he will be making us read this well into summer. One of his favorites!

Loved it! Iza Trapani's extended version of the itsy bitsy spider made me really fall in love with that story, so I thought we'd give this a try. It's just one verse, but the rhyming is great! I also got the Pilgrim and the Angel books for my daughter at the same time. She asks for this one repeatedly and I don't think she's asked for either of those to be read again. The others are by a different author and the meter doesn't flow as nicely.

Super cute and lovely illustrations. My daughter loves it. But, she instantly broke the cover which she hasn’t done with any other books, so this may be a bit flimsy.. after that, she doesn’t like reading it much. I also don’t like the rhymes at the end after the witch- feels a little lazy and could have been better. Otherwise, it’s a cute book.

This books has adorable illustrations to accompany the cute story of a little pumpkin (to the tune of The Itsy Bitsy Spider.) My toddler loves grabbing this book off the shelf, because she knows that a song comes along with it when we read it! The words flow effortlessly and the song is very catchy, so we constantly find ourselves singing the pumpkin song throughout the day. This book was a great addition to our collection, and we read it all year long!

LO was 19 months when she received this book. She loves it! So, perfect Halloween book for a baby or toddler. Now at 21 months she is just at the age of starting to want to read more complicated books like Green Eggs & Ham, although she continues to enjoy her board books. This one is particularly cute, with nice illustrations, a funny story, and it's perfect for singing (the itsy bitsy spider)

A tutti e 3 é piaciuto molto, ricalca la melodia di “Itsy bitsy spider” ma con una storia su una zucca in rima, quindi risulta musicale alla lettura, i disegni veicolano molto bene il significato, e la storiella, anche se semplice, é molto carina. Il mio piccolo di 2 annie mezzo la sa già a memoria :-)

Wunderschönes halloween pappbilderbuch! Für kleine Kinderhände ideal! Tolle Geschichte mit wunderschönen Bildern! Macht auch einen riesen spass den Text zu singen! Tochter 11 Monate hört begeistert zu und blättert gerne im Buch! Sehr empfehlenswert! Bitte mehr davon!
