Should be 4 stars, frustrating to get the desired results
I really wanted to give these more stars, the concept of the connectors is great: secure, water proof, neat and well priced.WHEN you can get them to assemble they are pretty good, with a rating of 14Amp, a good seal and positive connection and neat looking.however, i wasted many of the parts by simply struggling to insert the pins into the plugs once crimped.i found that trial and error and sometimes pot luck was the case.i would say invest in some molex style thin walled open barrel type crimper tool. you really do need the correct crimping tool as any deformation to the pin crimps will prevent them from 'clicking' into the plug housing.i wouldnt want to put people of getting these as i have succsesfully used them on my project (motorcycle wiring mods) however be prepared to have a good practice before you start snipping and crimping!
