Yes. The MV7i is MFi certified and is compatible with USB-C iPhones and iPads.

Does the MV7i have enough gain for the SM7B plugged into the XLR input?

The MV7i has 60dB of gain so is able to power microphones that need a lot of gain, such as the SM7B.
