Great Lego set for young race fans.
This is a bit of a twist, a licensed Lego city set! It seems that Lego have partnered with Formula One to produce a sub range of sets aimed at race fans. I built this with my 6yr old son (slightly younger than the recommended age, but well versed in Lego builds). We both enjoyed the build and all the details put in. Each car has its own garage space with a launcher feature that propels the cars out. There are lots of included details such as computers, tools and spare parts that you would expect to find in a race garage. Drivers and crew are included, along with some nice accessories, such as a winners cup. A neat feature is that the walls can be folded in to make a box, with a strong handle part making the set portable. This is a good feature if you want to keep the set together and intact, as it allows you to keep all the parts and bits for the set tidy and together when storing (preventing them from from getting lost in wider Lego collections - a common issue, especially with my youngest!)The usual expected Lego quality is present, from pieces, to mini figures and the always clear instructions. That said, I feel that the set as a whole is not huge and for the current price point it is perhaps not as good value as other non-licensed Lego city sets. With that in mind, if you are interested in the theme, you may wish to wait a few months, at which point the set is likely to be discounted a little.

Quite Expensive For What You Get
Some of these sets are getting a little extortionate. I'm guessing this premium pricing is a result of an ample amount of minifigures,6, and the F1 licencing. If you took the garage in isolation, this is a really simple small build. However, it comes with two mini F1 cars which are well designed. It also has a propulsion mechanism that fires the cars satisfyingly from the garage. The garage also closes neatly so all in all it is a good set, but seems destined to get heavily discounted, and at £50 it'll be worth every penny.

Love this F1 garage set from LEGO
The LEGO F1 Garage is a fantastic set that delivers everything you’d expect from LEGO's attention to detail and creativity. The build process is straightforward and enjoyable, making it accessible for a wide range of ages. It integrates seamlessly with other LEGO City sets, allowing for expanded play and imaginative storytelling. What stands out is the impressive detail, from screens and computers to tool trolleys, which bring a realistic touch to the F1 garage setup. The fold-up feature is a clever addition, making it easy to store or reconfigure during play. This is an excellent choice for LEGO enthusiasts, particularly for those who love motorsport-themed builds. A truly engaging set that balances fun and functionality beautifully.

Nice playable set
Really nice set with 2 F1 cars, minifigs and garage. There’s a few of the F1 sets that have come out recently and this one is a great one to start with.Simple enough to build and a good set to play with, it’s fairly robust and simple to put bits back together when the cars get damaged. My 5 year old needed help to build it but has a lot of fun playing with it and is able to fix things when bricks break off.

F1 Garage
Excellent Lego set for 7 years upwards, although I think it is also suitable for slightly younger (6 year olds). It's a straight forward build with 678 pieces in total and this took us about 2 hours to complete using the paper instructions and the app.I really like this Lego set as it comes with the proper F1 branding and includes 2 cars from different teams - Mercedes-AMG and Alpine. I think the design of the garage is cool, it's like a mirror image between the teams, with a few differences, but I love that it comes together in a box shape and has a "handle" that allows you to carry the set. That makes this a great way to store it when not in use, so you are less likely to lose bits. It's a clever design for a set that has lots of little accessories and I hope Lego do more sets like this as it helps keep all the bits together, and keeps the house tidy! The cars can be propelled out of the garage on the start of a race and there are plenty of accessories for kids to play with - change the tyres, check the oil, use the tools for the tune up and then compete for the cup. It's a great fun playset that has all the details needed to keep racing car fans amused.
