UV light for exposure for screen printing
I honestly am giving this a 5 star because of my mistake. I didn't read it correctly when I ordered this and it ended up being something else. I thought it was something else and I could not use it. I am giving them a 5star, however, because when I talked to my cousin, she said she uses these types of equipment for her job. So she showed me what it is and what it does and said she likes it. She said it works like it is supposed to and it is really good for the pricing. So now I am learning something new and I use it a few times a week when making screens for my new line of shirts coming out soon. Lol!

Nice option versus direct sunlight
I've been doing custom screen printing of shirts at home for our family for a few years now, and while it isn't difficult to do, one of the biggest limitations I've had (other than my time) is needing to wait for a bright sunny day to expose the emulsions outside. I saw this and decided to give it a try, and overall am pretty happy with it - not only can I do the exposure when I feel like it and when it fits my schedule, I can do it discreetly as well as a number of the things I produce are family gifts, and walking outside to set up a chair and do the exposure when they are around kind of ruins the surprise.I haven't actually printed anything using this light yet, but did some test strips to try and determine exposure times. This definitely isn't the same as 60 seconds in direct sunlight for the initial exposure for the sheets I use - it takes longer. I put them back in the sun for 15 minutes as well to harden and here, again, I think this light will take longer, but it does work. I definitely recommend playing around with test strips and content before doing a full sheet or your main design.Even at full price I think this is a great value for the money just based on the convenience it provides - even better if it's on sale like it is now. Functionally it isn't as good as direct sunlight, but it does the job and results in decent quality screens. It's small enough that it is portable and can be stored without too much difficulty, and since my designs aren't anything bigger than for a shirt it is sufficient to expose my screens. I haven't tried it on high def screens yet, but am not super concerned. For any home-hobby screen printer like me, I would recommend this.

Hardly Works
As others have mentioned, the timer does not work at all. You cannot adjust the 10 minute timer as advertised and I have also noticed that even though the timer says 10 minutes, you actually get about 7.5 to 8 minutes until the light shuts off and you have to turn it back on again. The bulbs are definitely not 50W. Unfortunately this is kind of a scam as it is not built correctly and is completely different than what you think you’re getting. Waste of money.

Less than 50w… timer doesn’t work either
According to the emulsion I was using, exposure should have been 3.3 mins for a 50w lamp. The emulsion didn't set up fully. All other factors were correct and triple checked. I am guessing this lamp is less than 50w? I will just need to expose for longer. Also, timer can only be set to 10 mins/light will only stay on for 10 mins. Not a huge deal because I can just use a timer on my phone but still… If you wanted to go longer than 10 mins, you will have to turn the light back on.

It does the job, read the instructions.
It's definitely an led uv light. It comes with a flat head and folding stand which is nice for storage sake. If you have an art studio, storage concerns are a must when real estate is expensive, this definitely helps. I wasn't too crazy about the weight distribution. The directions tell you to balance it with the one foot out, but when you do that, it makes it awkward to put a decent sized screen under it evenly. If you don't do that, it has a tip risk, which, it will. The height isn't the tallest either, it goes about 12-24 inches high (the head) effectively. Combined with the whole foot in front thing, this makes it a bit sensitive to negotiate flat and even distribution effectivelyWhen I opened the box, the top glass was already chipped on the corner, theres not bumper on the rim, so I'm not sure if the glass is sturdy enough to handle a fall or 3, which in a studio will probably happen. I suggest a vertical installation or other horizontal installation than relying on the stand. It has a convenient switch on/off and timing. Overall it is completely functional for the task at hand. This gets a five, because there's no 4.5 but even with the quirks, it does the job.

Legit
The curing light works well. I tested it with curing resin, and it did the job. The light gets warm after awhile, so best to use it with the timer. Everything functions properly. The best part about this particular curing light is the stand. It's versatile and well made.It looks like a black light, so anything white, like your teeth, will have a moon glow look to it. It is ultraviolet light at 395nm wavelength.5 out of 5 stars.
