4k video is very high quality. There is a large number of setup options, which I found confusing sometimes. However, every time I contacted Viofo’s technical support they responded very quickly and told me how to setup correctly.

Great dashcam, excellent quality, parking mode is brilliant, and SSD support is a massive bonus. Hardwired without any issue, and everything just works.

Great dashcam, my only niggle is with parking mode. I have tried several settings, but it kills my dedicated battery overnight. (Egen Cellink NEO 8+)

Easy enough to install, started off with included 12v socket but hardwired it now which I definitely recommend, you need fuse taps and the hardwire kit - it's mildly complicated. Setup is easy, app is actually pretty decent and video syncs surprisingly fast - probably 30s for a 5min clip at max bitrate ~4GB. I also got the separate button for activating the camera and glad I did as you're going to end up fiddling to occasionally save video on the units buttons (I've also hidden mine behind the rear view mirror so it makes the unit interface basically impossible when driving which i prefer for safety). Video quality is actually insane and it handles low light remarkably. I've got mine cranking at 4k max bitrate 2k max rear, the unit is literally hot to touch sometimes - obviously working hard. License plates are legible for probably 30-40m, don't think there's any danger in having non-useful footage.

Fantastic - so long as you only drive in daylight, when this camera has by far the best detail I have ever seen, and I’ve been through many cameras trying to find a good one. At night? Forget it - most of the frame is just black and you can’t even read the numberplate of a parked car when you pass it at 30mph, which my old (sadly now broken) one could for half the price. In short: if you only drive in daytime, this is a properly good piece of kit. If you drive after dark, forget it.

Viofo a329. This dashcam is one of the best I have seen. If your looking for a dashcam with very good video quality look no further. Also recommend the bluetooth remote to add to it. Definitely worth every penny..
