VTS-979 Stun Gun with Safety Disable Pin LED Flashlight

It is a great color, size, easy to handl, and operate let’s just hope I will not have to use it!

I bought 2 of these bad @zz little handheld tasers and gifted them…one to my 20 year old daughter and the other to my 24 year old daughter in-law. With the way crime rates are steadily rising and the daily news reports I see of sex trafficking, I wanted to get them something that they could conveniently keep in their purse for protection besides the keychain pepper spray that I bought them a while back. With these self-defense tasers they will be able to protect themselves from falling prey to becoming victims of violent crime and/or sexual predators. The product seems to be made of high quality materials and does exactly what it claims to do. The charge emitted when pressed seems to be very strong and no doubt, if used it will do its job. When searching for the right taser to get for them, it was very important that I found one that included a safety pin, so it couldn’t be snatched from them and then used on them and I wanted a product that was of high quality, sturdy material that is well made and dependable. This one seems to be everything I was searching for and more. Both of my girls carry their taser on them at all times. Although as a mom/mother in-law, I still worry about their safety, but knowing they have a means of protecting themselves definitely gives me a little peace of mind.

Received In brand new perfect condition. Made a safety test. Works perfect! It’s now charging. When I tested it the noise it makes startled me for a moment. Never been around one so close. With that said! Please use some common sense with this and one should be just fine. Please keep out of reach of little ones. Highly recommended!!

I bought this for my niece to help her feel more secure while driving and making deliveries, especially at night. She is often pulling into unfamiliar neighborhoods and apartment complexes, so I wanted her to have an added layer of protection. The black color is sleek and discreet. It does not draw attention, which she prefers. It is compact enough to fit easily in her purse or keep within reach in her car, but it feels sturdy and well-made in your hand. The built-in LED flashlight is brighter than expected and very useful for dark driveways and parking lots. The safety disable pin is one of the best features. If someone tries to take it, the pin pulls out and the device becomes disabled, which adds extra peace of mind. It is rechargeable, simple to use, and holds a charge well. When we tested it, the sound alone was loud and intimidating, which could easily deter someone without needing to use it. Love the color it’s so far what I expected. I have not yet used it but hopefully it’s a safety mechanism I can keep in my bag just in case. Comes with a charger, pouch, wrist strap, safety pin, and lastly directions for your safety.

This is a well made product and if the scary sound is any indication… it’ll serve its purpose. HOWEVER… I do question to idea of sending it fully charged. Yes, you must be careful and use caution. But I didn’t realize it was charged already. I could have shocked myself.

Easy to use

The noise this stun gun makes is great for deterring off leash dogs or coyotes. We live in the forest and often get unwanted company. One push of the button and the noise makes critters run! Great purchase.
