Apple LED Cinema Display 24-Inch MB382LL/A

I'll state upfront that I'm not a professional photographer, illustrator/graphic artist, or gamer. I'm mostly a power productivity and social user (mostly business applications, web surfing, technical and academic research, an occasional movie, etc.); and I spend a lot of hours in front of a monitor. So the lack of DVI and HDMI is a non-issue for me.I've had the Aluminum iMac for a while in the home office and recently upgraded to the Aluminum MacBook (2.4 GHz, 4 MB RAM, 250 GB HD), I opted to complete the desktop configuration with the purchase of the 24" Apple Cinema Display monitor. I'm not disappointed.I previously used the HP w2408 with the plastic MacBook (which worked fine with the DVI adapter). There's no comparison between the two displays because their technology is totally different. However, whenever I used the HP, it reinforced my preference for the brighter, crisper display of the iMac. So when I heard about the new 24" Apple Cinema Display with the high gloss finish, I decided to go for it. I love both the simplicity of the design and the aesthetics in that it matches the MacBook Aluminum perfectly. I completed the set with the addition of the i360 Turntable for making minor adjustments.Regarding the complaints -- well, the price is what it is (maybe you can negotiate via the auction or used sites) and the glossy glass is part of the package and seems like that's the direction Apple is going. I think most people know what they need and like; I don't know too many who experience buyer's remorse with Apple products. This new display is no exception, imo. I have Amazon Prime and with $3.99 more, I had it the next day -- set-up was a breeze -- it just works, right out of the box -- plug and play -- literally. The simplified power configuration is excellent too: one plug into your surge protector from your monitor; then the second plug from the monitor to your MacBook splices into a power, USB, and Display port connector. Too easy and clean! I recommend it highly.

It took about a week for my Cinema Display to come in via FedEx ground. Upon receiving the package and opening up the box I noticed that the screen was chipped and the top left corner of the monitor was dented. The condition mentioned on the profile said that the monitor was in "used-like new" condition.The reason I am giving The Mac Toy Store 5 stars is because of their customer service. Upon explaining my misfortune to them via email that night I got a phone call the following morning. They were extremely helpful in making this situation seamless. As many of you may know getting a damaged product from Amazon can be a nightmare to deal with. Fortunately they dealt with the FedEx claim all on their own. The only thing I had to do was put the monitor back in the box, have FedEx come to my door and pick it up, then wait for my new monitor to come in. I got my monitor in perfect condition in less than a week.Dealing with expensive electronics online can be stressful and getting damaged products can be a real headache but this company really goes out of its way to make you happy with your purchase. I would definitely recommend them i you are looking to purchase any high value mac products; or any mac products for that matter. If customer service is important to you I would recommend The Mac Toy Store, hands down.

Despite the premium price, this is hands-down the best external display to use with a MacBook or MacBook Pro, especially if you plan on using the dual-desktop arrangement (utilizing the laptop AND display).The built-in MagSafe adapter is the best feature. It completely negates having to carry the regular power adapter from home to work and back every single day, which is something that I always found to be a pain. The MagSafe adapter is extremely convenient.Additionally, when the USB cable is plugged into the laptop, it automatically activates the built-in speakers and recognizes the iSight as the primary camera in case you need to use iChat to video conference.As many others have found, this is not a display that is widely compatible with other laptops or even older Apple laptops. The display is powered by a mini Display Port, which is only used on the newer MacBooks and MacBook Pros. While I am sure that certain adapters can provide functionality with other laptops, this display is really meant to be used as a companion to the newer Apple notebooks.Overall, the display looks great. I find the glossy screen to make the colors more vivid. However, I have talked to others that are irritated by constant glare of this display (and the new glossy notebook screens as well). While this could be a potential problem, the screen is bright enough that the glare is not very noticeable unless you are in direct sunlight.I would highly recommend this display to compliment a MacBook or MacBook Pro. It is the best on the market and Apple always seems to create products with stunning industrial design while maintaining the overall quality.

I have now had my Apple Cinema Display for an entire day and i could not love it more. The iTunes visualizer, HD movie watching and game play on the display is nothing less than perfect.If you have decided that buying an apple display is the right choice, buy it off this page. I have rarely met such exquisite customer service. When I first received the monitor, I noticed a large crack running through the left side of the glass. I knew this was a UPS mistake and thus had little fate in getting it replaced on amazon. Upon email photos and information of the problem to this amazon page, i was met with draw dropping help. Almost everyday a customer care representative emailed me filling me in on the progress of the damage report. I was CC'ed when they contacted the UPS for me, and before I knew it a brand new display screen was sitting on my desk.It is rare to find such customer care, and i shall definitely be buying more products of this page

金額を見て失敗してもいい程度で購入しました。ミニディスプレイケーブルはテープで補強してあり、typeBのケーブルは反応無しだったので、ミニディスプレイをtypeC変換アダプターを買って繋いだところ問題なく作動しました。ケーブルがダメになったら終わると思いますが、一年でも二年でも使えたら嬉しいです。安価なモニターを使って作業していましたので、Macの画質で作業できるのが最高に嬉しいです。
