Raspberry Pi 5 Kit 8GB RAM with Pi 5 Case,Active Cooler,Screwdrive and Pi 5 8GB Board Included

I purchased the Raspberry Pi 8gb model, and overall I’m very satisfied with it. It arrived in good condition and everything was included as advertised. It came with a case and a heatsink with active cooling, which fit properly onto the Raspberry Pi. The cooler and heatsink works quite well, and stays very quiet. I haven't experienced any thermal throttling so far, which is what I was hoping for. That said, attaching the heatsink was a bit more difficult than I expected. It took a lot more force than I expected to get everything properly aligned and secured. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it's probably a good idea to handle the parts with some care. Overall, it’s a pretty good package and does what I need it to.

I use it for home assistant is and it works very well and fast. I've used raspberry pi OS also on this device and it works great. Easy to put the case together. Kit came with everything as advertised.

Nice kit all together. It was pretty easy to put together and have it up and running in a few minutes. Definitely a good buy for a beginner like myself.

The case is extremely tight and if you don't put it in just right, the plastic button will press against the power button forcing a constant reboot cycle. I had to loosen the four screws, slide the board towards the NIC adapter side of the case and then tighten the screws at the same time. For those who mention that the screwdrive(R) isn't magnetized, the one I received is. (seller, learn how to spell please) For those complaining about the button requiring tweezers, put the button in and hold the case so that gravity keeps it in place while you insert the board. Rocket science, this is not. That being said, they need to put the correct picture for the thermal pad placement, since there isn't a chip in spot B that corresponds to the pad size. I ended up putting it on the memory chip. As others have said, PSU needs to be added to this kit to make it complete. The Pi 5 is a great mini computer or prototyping board. While it can be used as everything from a game emulator to a smart home central brain, I love using them for powerful prototypes that have to handle multiple data responsibilities (e.g., controlling systems, recording video, connecting to the internet). I strongly recommend raspberry pi for complicated prototypes and Arduino for simple ones (or sub-routines performed by a secondary system under the supervision of a raspberry pi.

Very satisfied. Would be nice if they tossed in a 128 GB SD card;). I used it to convert webcam video into streaming video for recording instead of a PC. Very effective.
