SONICAKE Wireless Guitar System, 2.4GHz Wireless System Transmitter Receiver Set Rechargeable Audio with 6 Channels for Guitar Bass Electric Instruments

Just bought my first guitar and discovered the Sonicake brand. I bought a cheap, little headphone amp thinking it wouldn’t be so great, but was pleasantly surprised. So when my guitar cable was producing really loud and off putting static through my amp, I decided to give these a go. Turned them on and they paired in seconds and were charged and ready to go. Plugged them into my guitar and amp and started playing, with clear sound and no noise, they made playing the guitar a much more enjoyable experience. They are a great value product, so easy to use and going wire free means you can move around freely. The sound played cleanly, with no noticeable latency, even from a few rooms away. They fit snuggly into the guitar and amp, and the angled jack means the transmitter can be tucked away and is hardly noticeable. Very pleased I opted for this wireless solution over a better quality cable, and I’ve now ordered a second set for my daughter’s guitar.

Noise unacceptable! Horendous hissing noise once plugged in. Less when straight into the amp but still hard to live with. Returned the item. Tested in other rooms although not ideal i needed to eliminate any interference. Even used through a pedal board and Sonicake Pocketmaster, even worse noise. The cleaner tones still required a noise gate setting of 30+ For tones using gain, IR or NAM and even fuzz, distortion and od just forget about it. Could be a grounding issue on the ones i received. My experience was bad with these.

This is a product from a familiar and well know brand SONICAKE. This is a basic entry level wireless guitar system that works on the 2.4GHz frequency. Inside the box you have the small transmitter and receiver as well as the USB-A that splits into two USB-C connectors. I'm pleased to say that I did plug these into charge, but they were fully charged already which saved me waiting. The battery is a lithium Ion 3.7v/500mAh. Full charge gives up to 5 hours play and a range of 30 metres. There is a 5ms latency between the transmitter and receiver which is perfectly fine and not noticeable when guitaring at all. The number of channels available is six and once the two units are paired after holding the power buttons for three seconds they automatically fine the best channels to transmit on. These are Idea in a small home/studio/ rehearsal environment. My Daughter tried these out as she is the musician of the household and she pleased with the usability in a controlled environment. The main body of the units are made from plastic so they do feel a little fragile and cheap. These units work on the 2.4GHz frequency which can cause interference with the likes of mobile phones and other electronic devices like routers. However there are six channels to find a clear signal, but from my Daughters music experience she would just use these for practice and not in a big music venue, where multiple artists are performing with a variety of wireless systems under one roof.

They work fine as a direct to amp wireless system, but as soon as I plug the receiver into my Zoom effects pedal, there's a very loud white noise that's very distracting. I also have a Lekato wireless system and there's absolutely no noise with the exact same set-up.

Excellent cheap wireless solution for anything that’ll take 1/4” Jack. Using it for my desktop/lounge rig to reduce number of cables to fall over, and keep the place tidy. No noticeable latency

Item seems to pair successfully as the lights first blink fast and then go solid. However, no signal is transmitted at all. TX in guitar and RX in the amplifier. I checked with a scope if any signal was received...

Quicl delivery, quality looks good. Great connection out of the box with these, very handy. for practice.
