Smile.. 😁
Having recently seen Smile my faith in horror movies has been restored. Alongside "The Invisible Man" and "Malignant" just three of the best horrors I have seen over the last few years.Smile is, to me, an unsettling, creepy film with its topsy turvy direction, eerie music and silent dark shots where you just know something scary is going to happen then doesn't.. But the next scene shot in broad daylight makes you jump! Genius! On to Smile 2. The director doesn't drop the ball here. Oh no. He picks it up and runs with it pushing the boundaries further. In the first film he just dangled the carrot explaining the gist of the story. Here, you get the hole bunch. Can I make the audience jump higher? Can I get away with this? Can I get away with that? Oh yes. And brilliantly done. It may be a tad drawn out for some with its feel of paranoia and dread but I needs to be. And when the nasty stuff happens you better be ready. I will say this is one of the best horror movie sequals I have seen for along time. So, next time someone smiles at you, be it your neighbour, your best friend or even your mother. Ask yourself this.. Is that Smile genuine? Or something far... more... sinister?Enjoy.

Smile 2 is even better
I really like the first Smile film yes it takes some inspiration from others like most films do but it is unique. I wont spoil the film it really should be watched and enjoyed without anything being given away. I did not have high hopes for Smile 2 I must admit, even though I was keen to watch it. To my surprise It's definitely one of the best horror films I have seen and much much better than the first Smile film. It builds on the Smile 1 but does so in much more imaginative ways and the performance of Naomi Scott is outstanding here. The film leads you through her twisted nightmare and knows how to play on your mind throughout questioning its reality. Not many Horror films can achieve that now. To sum up yes watch them both!

Great value.
Great value if your into horror. We bought this double feature as we had only seen the first one but didn't own any and the third had just been released/ ordered on bluray.
