I bought these to enable some automation in our garden cabin. I wanted to be able to turn on an extractor fan if the humidity / temperature gets too high. We already have a Switchbot temp sensor and hub in there. So using the Switchbot app I created a little automation job to turn the fan on when it’s too hot, and off again when it’s cool. The relays are amazingly small and robust, about half the size of a matchbox, connected up in no time and worked flawlessly. I didn’t have an existing power switch to wire these behind, so have wired them direct to the fan which has worked really well. We also have one on the main ceiling light in there, so we can ask Alexa to turn it on/off, or turn off if we’re not in the room. Really impressed with the build quality and functionality of such a little device.

Work well but only connect 2 BT items in matter setup

Great compact item. Can turn off my floodlights with an app now thanks to this. I love the compact size of this as i was able to squeeze it in a small ip rated outdoor junction box with other cables as well. I paired up my switchbot with IFTTT and a smart motion detection TAPO cctv camera to turn my floodlights to smart floodlights as they would go off all the time with a PIR sensor, so removed PIR sensor and together with my camera and IFTTT and switchbot they now only go off for car or person movements.

I’ve used several smart relays, but the SwitchBot 1PM stands out for its compact size and the accuracy of its power monitoring. It was small enough to fit into my existing wall box behind the toggle switch without a struggle. I’m using it to monitor my washing machine, and I’ve set an automation to notify me when the power draw drops—meaning the cycle is done! Ecosystem Integration: As with most SwitchBot gear, it paired instantly. If you have the Hub 2, getting this into Apple Home via Matter is a game-changer. It has turned a "dumb" appliance into a fully automated part of my home. Highly recommended for anyone comfortable with a bit of wiring!

Work great connected to home assistant. Just wish they advertised kWh to home assistant so they can be easily set into the energy section.

These are awesome. Relatively straightforward to wire up, although use an electrician etc etc. Now have our water heater talking to home assistant, and managing automation and timers through the SwitchBot integration, rather than using the mobile app.

Every time ON/OFF wall switch,the wifi will disconnect.poor product.
