It is noisy. Make a weird noise when it is plug in and not on.For the price it's quite expensive for the noise and the quality. But it does the job and now we are waiting for the summer (UK you know... )

Good product. 3 speed settings are good. Remote control works well. Is a little unsteady and a little to loud.

I bought this as I was fed up moving my fan from the lounge to the bedroom. It cools better than any other fan I have owned, but as others have said, the base is a little wobbly, especially on carpet and it is a little noisier than my other fan, so I am keeping this in the lounge and using my other one in the bedroom. I have a respiratory condition and with the help of my fans, I have managed to cope very well.

Not keen on the stop start of the sleep mode but on the whole not bad for the money

I write this currently half pissed and hoping auto correct is on my side while its 15°c and have 2 dogs sleeping beside me. Dont get me wrong its a good fan. My only fault is of how fecking loud it is! Jesus i mean the hair dryer isn't as loud as this thing on the lowest setting bear in mind. My dogs are terrified off this fan as they see it as a loud monster machine! When my partner is on night duty, i like to take the dogs up to bed being scared off where i live and all that, the dogs have gone as far as to sit and bark at the fan. Leaving me to have to deal with two needy dogs that love a cuddle and sometimes try to smother you in your sleep. Therefore having to wake up in near enough a pool of my own sweat from having 2 bitches on top and a fan i can't use. But overall it's a good fan you could say, maybe bed ear plugs if your looking for something for those summer nights.

It's a good fan although it can get a bit noisy, especially if used in the bedroom. We brought our old 14" desk fan back as it's much quite. The tower fan is more suitable in our living room, especially when the TV is on. As for the various modes, I just switch it to oscillate and leave it at that.

Quite loud and the sleep mode and other mode (except normal) are really weird, it blows then stops then blows again. Not sure of the point of this, it doesn't sound more restful.Its good at moving air around which can help me feel cooler and less sweaty.

There was various reviews on both Amazon and other sites for this product, some saying it was quiet others saying it was quite noisy. Like most things it comes down to personal opinion but in my view it is actually quite noisy. If used during the day with normal conversation, tv and other back ground noise you wouldn’t notice it but at night in the bedroom using it to help you fall asleep you can very clearly hear it. It’s not so loud you can’t get to sleep but you can definitely hear it and be distracted by it. We actually had two fans in the bedroom during the recent hot spell and the other fan used was so much quieter than this one that it highlighted just how noisy this fan is.Not too sure on the other modes either - they seem pointless. They blow for a few seconds. Stop. Then blow again? Not sure why they are there.
