Q: Does anyone know the size of the screen? it is not in the description anywhere. "large" is not a size.

The screen is 4 by 5 and is adequate to be able to monitor, I really like my weather station and the value is very reasonable. however I had questions that I need answers and have no tech support to call, I am very concerned about when the unit exposed to the elements what happens when it hails out, will the unit be able to withstand the stress because it is constructed with plastic and what happens when it hails and snows will it be able to read precipitation!!!!

Q: Does the phone app show the data from the station at my house or does the app show data for the general area?

Yes they are in the instruction booklet.

Q: Does it give daily rain plus total yearly accumulations?

RWard is wrong. This device can display 1h, 24hr, week, month and total rain. Yo can also clear the rain totals.
