Gets the job done!
Great product! Very useful for labeling baby things for daycare. Also very useful for labeling anything. Labels are clear, easy to cut, and the starter pack of 3 different colors is wonderful! Very portable, easily store in a drawer or back. Though it would be kinda weird to track with a label maker. Definitely gets the job done! I haven’t tried the Bluetooth though, seemed complicated.

Go Bluetooth!
Get the Bluetooth version! Much easier. Works really well. Already labelled my ammo cans in about 20 minutes! No more confusion. Tool chest next.

Requires time & Patience-Big Learning Curve
Big Learning curve to get started. Paper instructions were definitely not a plus. Best to go to the Brother site to set up an account and register so you can get the manual. Bluetooth capable but it was tricky getting it to connect and once it was connected, you couldn’t see that it was. A bit troublesome that I had to hunt down a certain ac adaptor. Bought 2 not realizing the ac adaptor had to be a specific type. It does use batteries which are good for when I need to travel with it. So portability seems to be good. I will need to go through the manual to understand codes to type certain things on labels if needed. The AP is simple once you’re set up. Had to learn spacing if I needed to use the 2nd line and needed the wording to be centered. The Brother company did not have the AC Adaptor but did send me to sites that had the correct one. Plan a few hours to get set up and purchase the AC Adapter if offered. I think the AC Adapter should have come with it automatically. Do get extra tapes as the provided is just a sample. Amazon had a good price for a set of 3 tapes. Now that I have had it for a few days, it seems to be durable and works well. The case I got with is great… fits 2 tapes and the machine and the adapter.

Shop around
This product may be fantastic. I don't know. The "instructions" that came with it were pathetic. It showed how to install batteries and the tape, but nothing on programming. The wall plug-in recharge feature costs extra, but that was somewhat hidden in the ad. I found the feature to connect to the computer, but there was a download that asks for my credit card. No competent instructions on YouTube. I also found that the replacement cartridges with the average label length cost about 20 cents per label. Frustrating and very disappointing. I returned it the same day. Big mistake on my part for buying it.

Great label maker, fancy legible fonts, looks professional
Wow, I was pretty sure this would be another boring label maker, but it’s really slick. I made p/s labels to go onto plexiglass tag shaped cutouts I got elsewhere, which I wasn’t ready to write on with markers yet. They tie on with ribbon, which I thought would look good on my baskets. Now I see I can use this label maker with fonts and extra characters, and put rows of labels on each tag if I want to, even on both sides. Print quality is great, I can do big characters or rows of small characters. I’m a label making fool here.

This is an upgrade on a previous model I had and I really appreciate the upgraded funstionality compared to my older model.

Pretty swell, I love it.
Very happy with this purchase. I used it to label my toolbox drawers at work and plenty of things around the house and there are plenty more features I have yet to learn.
