****UPDATE**** As of Nov 15th 2024 the camera stopped working. I installed it in April 2024 which means I only got 7 months use out of it. I took it to a repair shop and they indicated that it was a board issue. The issue could have arisen on my side from voltage fluctuations or from a manufacturer's defect. Yes, it's not that cheap but I loved it so much I repurchased another unit along with a UPS. Let's hope this one lasts. Will keep you guys posted. FYI: Also, I noticed they introduced a new camera with 37X zoom at $499. I still feel that this version is better since it has a built-in speaker, alarm lights and the same resolution and frame rate for a $285 price tag. Just my 2 cents. ***Previous Review*** I’ve been using this camera (standalone) for over two months now, and I want to share my thoughts based on my own experience. First off, I paid for it out of my own pocket, and initially, I had my doubts. The price seemed too good to be true, especially when compared to well-known brands like Sumba. However, after extensive testing, I can confidently say that this camera delivers on its promises. Build Quality (10/10): The camera’s build quality impressed me. It features a sturdy metal dome and bracket, while the housing itself is durable plastic. This combination ensures longevity and reliability. Picture Quality (11/10): The images captured by this camera are sharp, vibrant, and clear. Even during fast motion (at 30fps), the results remain smooth and detailed. Zoom Capability (10/10): The zoom functionality is excellent. It focuses quickly, providing clear images even when zoomed in. PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) Performance (9/10): The PTZ feature operates smoothly, without any jitter. The 3D positioning enhances the overall experience, allowing precise control. Features (9/10): Here’s where this camera shines. With a 256GB Micro SD card, I get five days of full-resolution recording. The intrusion detection and auto-tracking features work flawlessly, meeting my primary use case. Quirks: On one occasion, the intrusion detection failed to alarm, even though there were people in the intrusion zone. A remote restart resolved the issue. During remote PTZ use, the camera unexpectedly cut off mid-movement. After reconnecting (within three minutes), it was cycling in a spinning motion. Noteworthy Comments: The PC software, Guard Station, allows seamless remote access and management via a web browser, providing full control. The p2p feature works well with Starlink internet, bypassing CGNAT issues without requiring port forwarding. Kudos to the customer support team! They promptly address any issues and even create instructional videos upon request. Perfect for non-tech-savvy users. The Only Missing Feature: While this camera excels in many aspects, I wish it had the ability to track boats. However, this limitation likely applies to any camera I’d purchase. See my sample video,

This is a very impressive camera, I set up security systems for friends and family, over the years I've probably bought 50 cameras. This camera has unparalleled night vision. Night vision is important with a security camera so it should be the top priority. It has all the functions they claim and more. One thing to be aware of, the default setting is for the white light to be on at night. It has good night vision in color mode if there is reasonable ambient lighting. However if you have a large dark area the white light will prevent it going into infrared mode. So to get good night vision under these circumstances you need to go into the settings and turn off the white light. in the picture below are two deer 100 feet away and pitch black night. This is not a Just Wing It camera. It comes with a pretty thick instruction book And you will need to read it to set this thing up. Super impressive camera Also I do not normally write reviews. Maybe five of them in 10 years or so. That's how impressed I am with this camera. They claim you will need to set this up in Windows Internet Explorer / edge browser. However I was able to do it in Chrome as well. I am unsure about Apple stuff. As I don't use it. It is not really configurable through their app. But it does require some networking skills. It is not for the weak of heart :)

Have bought several of these but the challenge is there is no support listed. Not even an URL to obtain the latest firmware

i purchased 2 of these cameras for my business they have been sitting on the shelf for like 3 mo. tonight i decided to install them and neither one will work with my nvr out of the box. These are supposed to be ONVIF compliant so they should work but after a few hours I gave up and used a different camera. Disappointed
