I decided to splurge a bit on a warmer base layer and got this. I've had it for over a year now and its still in great condition and very warm. no issues with size or washing it. I would recommend purchasing it, and will likely so so myself again.

My husband loves merino base layers for the winter months but they are very expensive. This was wasn’t too ridiculous and he needed a new one this year so I ordered it. It is a perfect fit. Because these tops are base layers ( so to be worn under other layers) they need to be tight so they are close to your skin. Initially the item did feel a little rough but after I’d washed it on a wool cycle it was much softer and more comfortable for my hubby. Its nice and long so keeps his lower back warm too. The neck is nice..not too baggy and all in all it’s a decent base layer. He says it’s warm but because it’s quite thin ( by other base layer standards) it’s not as warm as other ones he’s had. I guess this is reflected in the price. So in conclusion it’s good but not perfect.

I originally bought one of these for a trip to Iceland as a base layer. I found it so comfortable, that I now wear them around the house instead of a shirt.

I originally bought for hiking, however, a great fit with jeans so doubles up as a casual top as well. Washed a couple of times and kept great shape. Will definitely buy again when needed.

This product is very well made and came just in time for a cold spell, so I know how good it is in bad weather. I am very pleased with it and would buy again

It's true to size. I'm 6'1, 185 lbs, and Large size fits perfectly. Very soft and you always feel dry even if you sweat a bit. Probably going to buy another.
